Hello all,
I am hoping that someone has created a set of printable labels in the new color families from SU. I've got a set that's in roygbiv order but I'm looking for a set in SU "family" order (all the brights together, etc).
I have some time and need to get my ink pads and my cardstock re-organized... finally!
Is this what you're looking for? I was looking for the same thing. I want to put labels on the ink pads to make it easier to find the color I am looking for.

If you have the window word punch from SU all you have to do is use a sheet of return address labels, type in and center the color names on each label and punch. This punch is a perfect fit for the front of the ink pads. I just labeled all of mine and some for some friends. Very easy.
I also have ordered from her and it was so nice for a few bucks to get the color printed on the same color cards stock. I was just looking at getting some for my ink pads and some for the new color cardstock.
I made my own color labels several years ago and need to make some now. I printed mine onto clear address labels, using mini labels for my ink pads because I could cut them in two, horizontally, to fit on my pads. If I can find large clear labels, (like 8 to 12 on a sheet) I'll put those onto real pieces of cardstock and make my own "Color Coach" tool, with all info about matching inks, etc. on it. When I go to mount the label on a dark cardstock, where the black ink might not be real practical, I'll back the clear label with a white one so I can easily read it. I guess I could easily real all them if I used all white labels, but I like the look of being able to see through the clear labels. I like labels because my printer doesn't handle cardstock real well. I need to find a new printer that feeds straight through from back to front.
I always liked having real pieces of cardstock to show my customers because it was a true way to get an accurate match for other products and supplies. Several years ago I made a bunch of cardstock samplers, and put them on binder rings, and I assembled them onto the rings according to color families, but didn't label each individual color- my customers made their own labeling, using their catalogs for reference.
I am not a big fan of the new color coach after spoiling myself with the real pieces of cardstock. I guess the color ideas suggested on the cards would be helpful to some stampers, though. I didn't think about that aspect much because I never had a problem putting colors together for myself- one of my friends pointed that out to me because she had issues when it comes to matching or finding things that look good together. So I would for sure recommend it for those customers for that reason.
