These two stamps have been sitting on my desk for DAYS waiting for some inspiration to hit.
Well, if inspiration was shooting, it missed the target.
I don't want to color these images, I want a quicker idea. Some coloring would be okay. I thought of stamping the baby carriage in pink or blue. I also thought of just using the two inside squares of the bride image and layer on a lacy diecut. I don't know why ideas are so elusive for these old Magenta stamps (probably 2002ish). I don't usually have blanks:-(
f I don't want to color something I usually stamp it on patterned paper or sometimes just colored card stock. You could also try the spotlight technique and just color part of them
I have a Magenta stamp like this one (no image in the middle, just the frame). I embossed it in silver and then used the Colourbox stylus/foam pads to sponge pigment ink over it. Then I cut it apart with an exact knife to make a sort of gatefold card. I put the card in my gallery. magenta by scrappy knitter - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Hope that helps

That's a good idea and it would work up fairly quickly, plus I have every Cat's eye color I think!
I thought about polished stone, but I think I want something that will make up more quickly as I need to make several. Also, I wasn't sure what colors to use.
I think I have a block with these images is because there are other projects I want to be doing. I have some other stamps that I really really want to work with and color with my Prismas. Does that make any sense???
I like the white on white heat embossing. I think you could emboss white on any pastel cardstock, and it would be pretty too. I think coloring could take away from the image.

That's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bingo bingo bingo
I have a couple of those Color Box pads that are white, but with a very very slight kiss of blue and another with a slight kiss of pink. That would be perfect
Magnolia - You'll have to post your card to this thread when you're through. :-)

NOW I remember why I haven't used the bride stamp in years, it doesn't stamp well at all. I tried all kinds of ink, embossed and not embossed and that stupid thing always has a space that doesn't print. I also hate having to use an exacto knife to cut out the frames. I thought sure the white ink, or the tinted white would look great, but I'm just not lovin' it.
I also remember why I don't emboss much any more. I really don't like embossing, it's messy, it takes too long to suit me, it's not fun and I burnt my hand on the heat gun.
Second Installment
The last one is just plain white on white. I didn't love it, so I sponged in a kiss of pink. I guess it's better, but I still don't love it.
I know you said you didn't want to colour them, but my favorites are the ones where you DID colour the baby carriage and the bride's face. I kept trying and trying to think of other non-colour stuff you could do, but I couldn't think of anything.

You know, I keep thinking about that card I made with my friend's embossing folder, it's my very favorites to use for a wedding. I'm just going to buy that embossing folder! It's Manhattan Flower from Stampin' Up. I wonder who saw that flower and decided you could turn it upside down, cut away part and it makes a beautiful dress?
Go for it!
If you are not going to use those stamps at all and still don't want to colour, another thing I like to do with embossing folders is to use them to make a three-tier wedding cake. Like this card: Wedding cake by SophieLaFontaine - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
No colouring! No stamping even!
For the stamp you said leaves blank spots, maybe try the technique I use for background stamps. Place the stamp on your workspace rubber side up, apply ink with a brayer. Lay your cardstock over the inked stamp, place scrap paper over top and rub with the palm of your hand.
I think the bride stamp would look cool if each frame were stamped in black ink on a different color cardstock and layered.
