Default Need help for starting bid on mini album

Im donating two 8x8 premade albums for a silent auction. I paid $14.00 per album and plan to use a mixture of pp and cs...some embellishments but not over the top. Each album has 12 pages but will hold 42 max. I need to list a starting bid for each album, I'd love your input!

Oh My! This is a tough question. So much depends on the people attending the event. I hope the audience consists of generous donors rather than bargain hunters.
I would say add up your total costs and then double that for the starting bid.

Thank you Garnet! The auction is supossed to have the spirit of donating behind it, the proceeds will go toward a youth trip this summer. Actually, I can see it going either way...depends on who bids. Your info helped me find a starting point, Thank You!

If there are people who scrapbook (or who wish they scrapbooked), they would be willing to pay more, because they know how much time you put into it. My mom sells crafts, and she always says that you don't make any money for your time, but I don't think it's worth your time if you're not making any money at it. Especially for something important like charity. I would AT LEAST start the bidding at $25-$30. It would be worth it for a handmade item.
