Default Need help with Hockey Cards

I really need some help. My sister has a small Hockey Store located at a ice arena. I thought about making and selling hockey cards. I bought a Hockey stamp set and now I am lost as to what to do with them. The set I have is a Stampin up set called On Ice. Anyone out there have some great ideas? This is what I have so far, but I dont like the way it looks quite yet. I dont have it put together yet. The pieces are just laying on the card base. The colors are Purple, White and Gold so I used elegant eggplant and marigold morning.

Sorry I am no help but when I read your thread - my eyes misread your title and I thought it said Hokey (as in Pokey) and I wondered what a hokey card was?

I think your card looks great! Maybe you could find out some local team colors and make cards to match.

I am also looking for some rubber stamps with hockey phrases for birthday cards. I have been searching and have come up with nothing. Something for instance that says Hockey Birthday. I would like to have a few different ones so all my cards are not the same. Any Hockey ideas out there for me!!!!!

I think your card looks nice, but I understand about wanting a "variety".

If you can't find the stamp for the greeting you want, print some off your computer and use your punches to give yourself more options.

I have some hockey cards in the "Just Hockey" gallery if that helps. I will be adding more once I find some time.

You might also consider making "packets" for the mom's to buy all the same layout, but with some different sayings.
Or tags - boys don't care about the card, just the gift
Good Luck!

Actually, the goalie on your card looks very similar to the goalie on a retired set called "Puck Play". You might want to check out that gallery for some ideas. Here's the link:

the best hockey set (IMHO) is CTMH. I love it. It has a shooter, a goalie, the stanley cup, lots of stuff.
