Default Need great tag ideas

I'm demo'ing a party in a couple weeks where the hostess has asked that i do some gift tags along with some other various projects. I have Holiday Woodcuts, but i know i can't demo Tag Alongs since it's retired. Can you give me some good samples of tags that were a hit at your parties. Thanks.

TAG YOUR IT!!! Suggest using the "Search" feature with "Tag" as the keyword. You'll get lots of ideas. Do you have any inspiration sheets???? There are several tag examples, not just for gift tags but also incorporating onto a card.

And lastly, the Dirty Dozen Design Galley has a TAGS section. That was our first challenge.

Happy Tagging, lila

Using tags is an easy way to show heat embossing. I did it as a hands on project because people are always WOWED by heat embossing. I used large tags and the All Year Cheer 1 Peace, Joy, Love stamp. Stamp w/ Versamark, sprinkle silver embossing powder over it, and heat. Put organdy ribbon through the hole. Quick, easy, minimal paper use and had LOTS of oohs and aahs and embossing related sales! Good luck!

kreigermom - I recently posted these tags using Holiday Woodcuts...

Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I did use a few non-SU! products, but there might be an idea you could use...

Could you take the Tag theme even further and create a "page" or two of the new trend - taking many tags and making a mini scrapbook?

Plus, use the Tag Time stampset!

Just a few ideas...

I just did a workshop using the Yuletide Montage set for gift tags to show various ways to use your sets other than for cards. Stamped the Santa in red and used the blender pen to cover hat with ink from lid, edged the sides of tag with pad. Did the angel in navy, colored wings with daubbers and ink from pad, edged the sides of tag with pad. Was a hands-on projects that all the guest loved. Also, sold a lot of blender pens and daubers.

Mzaiderman.....got a question though. When you stamped the Peace, Love, Joy stamp, was that it? Where did you put the "to-from" at? Did you layer it onto silver c/s then add the ribbon?

Put the To/From on the back of the tag. I didn't have them mat it. Believe me, just seeing the embossing powder melt and get shiny was enough !! :P
