Default Need embossing powder advice

I have been doing a lot of embossing lately and realize I need to buy more black and white embossing powder. Any recommendations on the best embossing powder to buy for the best price? I was just wondering if anyone has found different brands to melt more smoothly or to adhere better. Also was wondering if there was anywhere you could buy it in a larger container -- I seem to use a lot of the black and white, as well as clear. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I have done lots of cards withwhite embossing powder. I love Hero Art white embossing powder the most, lovely and sharp images. Not chunky.

I have heard other people love Hero Arts white powder too. I just bought a jar of Zing white embossing powder and so far I like it.

I wish I could give you some advice, but I have only used Stampin' Up's embossing powders.

Re buying in bulk, try e-bay. there are often people on there selling it by weight. I do know that Judikins used to do a jar of clear embossing powder, called The Embossing Pounder, as it was 1lb in weight. I have a number of different brands of powder, and can't say that I find any one of them to be better than the rest. The only ones that never worked very well were cheap brand glittery ones.
