Would those who were offended from the fairies just tell Brigitta "thank you'' for being so kind as to remove them because she didn't want to continue to upset people?
And those who were not offeneded from the fairies, would you please continue to be supportive of each other?
Let's just let this roll off of our backs, and be thankful we have a place to come and post our creations to.
I look forward to seeing Brigitta's new fairies, as I am a fairy/pixie lover myself. ;)
Brigitta,
Thank you for removing the fairies. I do appreciate that very much. You are very talented.

I just can't believe how upset people get when others disagree with them. There was one poster who even called everyone who disagreed a "prude". I think that is uncalled for. In real life people do not agree with everything and that is what makes the world go round. I agree with Debra on this issue but that does not mean you need to burn me at the stake. Opinions are a great thing and so is standing up for what you believe in even if you are in the minority.

Reason: Because I used "America" and there are people from around the world on here. Thanks for the PM reminding me of my imperfections!

Well I thought A very long time about posting. But I thought I wanted to now.
This image was sent to me by a friend adn she was happy with it. SO I think my head was tainted be that. But I also have a 3 year old that is very computer smart adn knows how to open up todays gallerys. I do not think I want him to see that. But with that said I love art. But I think there are correct places for it. I did PM a Moderator, I think to just see what was aloud. Now that the Mods have cleared it up in explaining how they approve things. Thank You. I did not post negative comments and would never ( that is me but if others needed to express thier opinion I understand)
I Thank You Brigitta for removing it. I am sorry if you felt bad. I also felt that as long as they were NOT in the daily gallery And just in yours it was okay because I did not have to look at it. I like your art work. I think you are talented.
I know people put things out there on post with out thinking adn some times wish they had not said it. I have been trying to hold back from posting but I did want to Thank her say I like the new purple fairys. I even was trying to think of ways to change her other ones. I did but I will keep that to myself because I do not want to be the back lash.
Remember unless you are a true writter , some times your messages in type come through harsh and hurtfull ( not matter that side of the fence you are on ) . I am not a Writter so know this was written with me calm, wanting Brigitta to know Thank you from my heart adn also Sorry from my heart if your feelings were hurt by this. I can get hot headed about things some times adn I know NOT to send me resopnces right away because it will only stir the pot more.
I AM SO THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I am guessing the background wouldn't matter......
I LMAO the first time I read the post about boy fairies...and I LMAO again when I clicked the link. I would love to receive a card with this stamp - it would totally cheer me up on my darkest of days. Why? Because it is unexpected and daring - goes into the world of "taboo". Maybe South Park should do a spoof of this thread.... ;-)
Brigitta (hope I spelled that right), I hope that you will let the "negative" comments posted here roll right off your back. And I hope everyone else respects the right to freedom of speech. And like I said before - is anyone here offended by "David" or Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel??
Your work is beautiful, and I personally am planning on buying that fairy stamp from you in the near future. Acutally, what I would like is a fairy who just had a baby and still has that post-baby body. HAHAHA!!!! J/K It would just make me feel better about me still having mine 2 1/2 years later!!
And to those that think I am being judgmental. I think that of you in what you are saying about me.
Debra, you certainly have the right to your own opinion, everyone does, but I don't think they have a right to post nasty comments or PM her with nasty comments.

So is there a way to flag cards as Parental Guidance needed? That way they are still uploaded, but parents can see the thumbnail may have content that will offend and can somehow skip over that? Nothing overly complicated, but since every image is approved by a moderator anyways, maybe have a checkbox they can select to give some sort of flag to the user that it *may* offend? That way each SCS user can choose to view it or not, and will have some warning before they see it?
I've read this thread and the mods haven't commented on this idea for a solution -- which I think is great. Have a check box, then people could opt in or out in the control panel and the item is either shown or not (very similar to the DD Gallery -- you see it if you are a member, but don't if you aren't). Thanks for coming up with a creative solution!!
