Default Name This Stamp or Stamp Set

I have often purchased stamp sets that did not have the sticker with the name of the set. I have many of the older SU and DOTS catalogues and have spent a lot of time searching. But if they were in a mini or were a SAB set, they might not be in a regular catty.

So, I am starting a new thread to see if we can name this stamp or stamp set. Not limited to SU - if you have a set or just a single stamp and need to know its name, please post.

Thanks to everyone who posts and to anyone who might can give us an answer!

Pat

Year Round Cheer. Looks like an SAB item, since it's got the blue/puple-ish rubber. Mine are still uninked. ;-)

Yes, that's it! Looks like I am missing the elf holding a gift stamp. Thank you so much. I have a few more sets without names I'll be asking about soon.

Now I have something that needs identified. I'm not sure if they all belong in this set, but here's what is in the clam shell:

12 small stamps: just beecause (little bee); three lady bugs; all my love; So Nice; friends; an apple; a birdhouse; a strawberry; a cowboy boot; three leaves; lets talk (coffee cup) and four shapes (two squares and two hearts). Anyone know what this was?

I am assuming it's SU since it's in that kind of clam shell.

TIA

Do you have a date on any of these? Are they red rubber? I've been looking but haven't found anything yet.

Those sound like incentive stamps from SU, which were various designs and themes to be given one at a time to customers. I think you have stamps from four or five (or more) older sets.

Yes, that's the boot! Now that you mention date, I see they have different dates. Some are from 1995 through 2004. So you're saying these were given individually and I just have a clam shell of them? I am not sure where I got them. I am thinking yard sales this past summer. I knew I could count on you all to help me figure it out.

One's from 2004 are actually pink rubber. With the other replies I am assuming I have a mixture of several sets of incentive stamps.

I came across this thread just a few minutes after posting a new one, I'll cover all my bases and post here as well (BTW..great idea. It would be great if SCS would make this a regular forum topic).

I'm purging and organizing and came cross quite a few stamps that appear to belong to sets; so far I've only been able to identify one (the flowers in the vase). They are all mini stamps from SU and have dates ranging from 1994 to 2000. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I found one :-) The sunflower with the bee is from Love Grows. It was a set of 4 - other images were pansies w/butterfly, coneflower w/dragonfly and sentiment "Love Grows When Shared". No gallery index...

Okay - found 2 more...

The stamp w/3 sunflowers if from "What's Moo?" Set of 8 - has 2 cute cow images, milk container, picket fence w/sunflowers, grass, & 2 sentiments - "Have an Udderly Wonderful Day!" and "Whats' Moo?" No gallery index for this set either.

The little flower (left column - below the bunny) is from Bitty Bolds - set of 12. I have this set and use the little images a lot...

When I first started no one told me that the little sticker strip was for the box. So I have a few too without a name. I don't have time right now but I'll look tonight. I didn't save my catalog from that year or maybe I didn't have one.

Show us your stamps :-)
It might help us if you have the year for the stamps and the color rubber.
