My paper/envelope source ran dry. Where do I go from here?
I live about a half hour away from a paper factory which had a retail shop for papers and envelopes that were left over from commercial orders. So, I could get a box of all size envelopes for about $5 for a box of 250. I could get paper for about $4-8 a ream from text paper to 110# cardstock. And it was good stuff like Neenah, Cougar etc. Sadly, they have closed down and now I am wondering where my next paper/envelope "fix" will come from. I use a lot of 80# cardstock. I would love to hear from anyone who has suggestions from people who are satisfied with their suppliers.
I was in the same place as you a few years ago. My paper supplier closed down the local store and it's not convenient to drive to Denver for a small amount at a time.
I have been buying packages of Neenah paper as needed when it is on sale on either Joann or Amazon. Joann's often has it as much as half off online.
I buy all of my envelopes from Envelopes dot com. They have every type of envelope imaginable in a wide variety of colors, finishes, and weight. They aren't necessarily the cheapest but with so many options they are my favorite source. I also buy in bulk which means that the more I buy, the more the price per envelope drops

Get on the newsletter for Marco’s Paper so you are notified when there is a sale. cutcardstock. com is also a good source for paper with a low or no shipping fee over a certain $ amount.

My two cents worth- PaperPapers.com. Sign up for emails. They regularly have sales on clearance, will send an email usually letting subscribers shop a day before the sale goes public. I have made many many super purchases from these folks, and their service is wonderful. You never know what will end up in clearance, but it's worth looking.
