Default My jumbo ink cartridge is dry already?!

I bought my Bliss Blue jumbo ink cartridge before Christmas because I was using it with my Swirling Stars jumbo wheel to make Snowman Soup mugs for my 40 piano students. I just got out the cartridge today to use with my new Cool wheel, and I wasn't getting good images at all. I checked and rechecked the cartridge's contact with the wheel, then I tried the wheel with my new Lovely Lilac jumbo cartridge and that worked fine.

Verdict - this cartridge is out of ink already!! I wheeled about 2/3 of a sheet of cardstock for each of 40 Snowman Soup mugs - is that enough to use up the ink?! I was surprised! I keep them pretty airtight too - I keep my cartridges in a stamp case (the kind with the dividers - works great!), so it wasn't open to the air or anything. And I keep them right-side up.

So do I need to order the Bliss Blue reinker? I bought the Bold Brights reinkers and haven't used them yet.

I always advice my customers to buy reinkers as soon as they buy the cartridges. Because they are pretty small and the lid is not airtight, cartridges dry out fast. So yes....you will have to purchase the reinker.

Always store them in a zip lock bag and make it as small as possible. I don't have the jumbo size but it works with the smaller size.

Default jumbo reinkers

I have actually always had a little trouble with all of my cartridges - so I go ahead and buy the reinker when I purchase the cartridge. Generally, if I use one of my cartridges after I have not used it in awhile, I do reink before using. I was a little dissappointed at how quickly I ran out of ink doing wrapping paper at Christmastime with my jumbo wheel. It did seem to lose its ink rather quickly - but it helped to be able to reink when I needed. I hope that helps.
