How in the world did I miss this!! Lauren and Alexa--congrats on such a beautiful set. Lauren, I will be buying this set either this payday if I can swing it and if not definately on the next payday. The set is so stinkin' cute I have to have it. Not to mention that it honors Alexa and helps such a worthy cause. Alexa is such a beautiful strong little girl. I smile everytime I see your avatar. I can not imagine going through what she does every day. What an amazing angel! The first thing that I would like to make when I get the set is a card for Alexa. Will you pm me your address so I can do that? Also, what are her favorite colors? Thanks so much.

My older daughter Emma loves to stamp with me - she's three - and I think she will be thrilled when I buy this set for her! Congrats to you, and I hope that this stamp set can help raise awarenss for all of the children out there dealing with things even an adult shouldn't have to deal with!

DITTO! I ordered the set even though I had promised not to spend any more money on stamping stuff this month. But... it's an odd phenomenon, I am better at keeping promises I make to others than keeping the ones I make to myself.

I read this a few days ago & thought it was SO cool! I can't wait to order the set! Like others I know I shouldn't order more stamps, but what a special way to show your daughter how very important she is! She is so beautiful!

I finally had time to jump on line and order !!! What an awesome idea. Lauren and Alexa you are in my thoughts and prayers. I bought this set as a present for my 4 year old niece who loves to stamp with her Mom!!! I bought the sassy girls for me!!!
I just bought my Alexa set!! Wohoo!! Can't wait to get it and make some cards!

Hi for those of you who ordered.....
It does say the orders are held 2 weeks and then shipped priority. The reason for this is she doesn't want to keep alot of inventory-also the setrs are vulcanized 10 at a time. This way she knows how many to order per period. Also She has been swamped with orders!! Thanks everyone-its for a great cause. I'm happy everyone is excited. Alexa is back in the hospital, and will be here for a while. I can't wait to be able to show her all the cool stuff you all do with it.
For those of you who wanted wood blocks Donna aka Belly_Dancer is sending me some FREE!!! How nice is that?! So I would be happy to give away some to those who are getting the set. I have NO IDEA how many I will have OR what sizes are coming (or what sizes you'll need till I get my set). So first come first serve. Also I won't be able to ship right away, cause 1-I don't have the blocks yet and 2-it will have to be on a day I go home to visit my other 2 kids since I stay here with Alexa. Thankfully I have the hospital laptop-otherwise I may go nutts!!!

Thanks to all of you! Words can't express how awesome this feels. As a mother, when your kids are sick you want to help them. This is the only way I can help Alexa and kids like her (beside slobbering her with love,hugs, kisses, tears, and gifts!LOL!). "I" can't heal Cancer with all the love in the world-but with aid in research and other programs for families I can help make a difference.
I bought this set too-can't wait to get it. Where will the samples be posted in the gallery? There should be a special category just for Alexa's set!

Hi Kathy-
Alexa is actually at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon NH. Its closer to us (1 1/2 hours) and her Pediatric Oncologists is one of the best, and highly reccommened by Boston Childrens. Alexa has been a regular in Boston Childrens in the past due to her DS and heart surgery.
Sending ((((HUGS)))) your way for Alexa!! (and you of course ) You will be in my thoughts and prayers. btw, you pm'ed me your addy but is there a different addy now that she is back in the hospital that cards can be sent to or is the other one o.k.? I just want to make sure to get her a card as quickly as possible. Thanks!

Yeah, I can't wait for my set to get here! I was wondering and am glad to know she's just swamped with orders. I'm gonna need blocks to mount it. Anyone know of a good place to get the foam??
