Default Mounting question - Happy Birthday frame

Please give me advice on mounting the frame stamp. I'm not sure if I should try to cut out the center or not? Thanks for your help.

Default happy birthday frame

I cut the center out because sometimes on a stamp like that I was getting a spot in the middle of my stamped image. Now I always cut out the center of a heart or circle etc..

I cut out the center of mine too. It's too easy to pick up ink in that center part and then have ink end up right where you don't want it.

Take care, Brenda

I didn't cut the middle out and it works fine for me. I always look at it after inking to make sure there is no ink in the middle. But I do that with all my stamps anyway - kind of a habit. If you cut it out, you wouldn't have to always check. I think it's kind of personal choice.

I don't know if that helps you or not.

First, I mounted mine then, I cut out the center. Works easier for me that way!
