Default Mounting help please

I was looking to purchase some pink cat studios stamps, but I see they are just rubber. How do I mount them to use? Could I cling mount them to use with an acrylic block? Where do I buy the mounting stuff? I've always bought my stamps wood mounted or clear, so I am clueless, lol. Thanks.

You can cling mount them with EZ Mount, or you can use Tack it Over and Over on the back of the rubber and that will allow them to stick right to the block with no foam, and also Tack n Peel on your block will do the same thing.

Tack n Peel: Tsukineko high quality inks and inkpads for your crafting projects

Thanks! That's simple enough.

I have a few bare rubber stamps that I got from Pink Cat Studio. I just applied double stick tape to the back of the stamps, and then stuck them to my acrylic block. It was easy, it worked, and I didn't have to buy anything special or wait for something to dry.

Since this method does not "cushion" the stamp, I used a foam stamp mat when I was stamping to get a clear image.

Yes, I was going to say that I've used double stick tape before also.
And I've heard of people sticking their stamp to an old cassette tape for a very temporary mounting. You can also stick it to a child's block toy, or anything flat, but like buggainok said, use a foam stamp mat underneath to give cushion.
Make sure when you trim the stamps, cut close to the edge with your scissors straight up and down, or you'll undercut the stamp, which causes a crummy stamped image.

The best "permanant" ways of mounting your stamp, to be also removable for easier storage, are the EZ Mount system, (like Understandblue said above), and the Halos system of Velcro mounting.
You can find Halos here:

Hope that helps!!

As is stated in Post #4, use them bare, with double stick tape. Just be sure to use a good stamping pad under your paper. The stamping pad I have is from Darice.

Why spend more money for the mounting stuff, I don't feel it's necessary.

My friend has unmounted her stamps (franb63) and she is bare rubber also, anyways, for her "stamp pad" she uses just a good old foam rubber mouse pad. Works like a charm when I have used her stamps.

Thanks everyone. I have the stamping pad from darice and I have some tack it over, so I'll probably just use them to save some money.
