I am in the market to purchase some new alphabet stamps. I was just wondering what fonts you people like to use for many things..they dont have to be SU either..For those that have the Headline set, do you like it alot? I do like unmounted stamps and some acrylic too..thoughts..thanks
One of my faves is 'Circle Pop Aphabet' by Hero Arts. Because of the way it is designed, you don't have to worry about keeping it straight, you can deliberately go up and down with it - a big plus for me LOL!
I used it to add the name Shane to this card if you want to take a peek.
I use SU stamps for everything EXCEPT the alphabets. I have many of the sets but I always reach for my CTMH clear alphabets because they are so convenient to arrange the entire word on a stamp and stamp it all together vs letter by letter, of course you can stamp the CTMH letter by letter also if you need to but I just LOVE them. It is also nice that you can see through the acrylic block and know exactly where you are stamping.
I wish SU would come out with JUST the clear, unmounted alphabets
I like SU's alphabits. It is so much fun to stamp the whole alphabet and punch the letters out. No worries about lining them up! And you get 4 fonts for $14.95
I got my Headline alpha for Christmas and I love it. I've used it on cards (which have not been uploaded to my gallery yet!) and scrapbook pages. I think it's very versatile!
I love clear alphabet stamps! You can make any word or phrase you want right on the block, very easy! My faves right now are the Classic Caps and Cobblestone alphas from CTMH. But I do still reach for my Image Tree alphas alot too.
Since I haven't gone the clear route, I like SU's Whimsical--you don't have to worry about it being even. Also love the fun stuff you can do with Headline--my favorite is the faux shaving cream with a wheel.
