I don't know about you, but I'd rather get a card "for no reason" than to get a dozen on my birthday. It gives me a lift. Here are just a few reasons you can send cards in April...

I don't know about you, but I'll take any excuse to hang out in my craft room to make cares. LOL Most people have a sense of humor and love getting cards for "no reason".

Thanks for the list and the website link. I am always looking for other reasons to send cards then birthdays/Anniversaries/ Christmas, ect. I am a nurse so I always make up loads of cards for Nurses week and Nurse Aide week since I use to work with alot of medical professionals being a nurse myself- but nnow I am just a SAHM and hobby papercrafter.

Thanks again... I will have fun copying down each month's list.. and seeing how many more unigue reasons I can send cards out.. I send alot of "just thinking of you' cards but that gets really old sometimes.

Thanks for all the kudo's but it is the Wacky Holiday's website that does all the work. I will try to keep up posting a few here every week - those that are particularly fun:cool:

Seriously though, when you send a card to someone when it is not their birthday, anniversary, christmas, etc - you are really saying "I thought about YOU today." That can't help but life someone's spirits.

This is such a fun thread. Where do you find all these days? I love it too - getting cards in the mail for no reason except maybe the person was thinking of me! It just makes my day so much better. I love the idea of just sending a thinking of you card to people.

I just made a card today to send to a dear friend. I love sending cards when it is totaly unexpected. They are the best.
