Lately I have not been receiving the coupons they used to send out iin emails. i only receive the weekly on line ad. Have they dis-continued their coupon (too popular)? Also I hear that Joanns coupons are good at Michaels-is this tru? Thanks for you help-Barb
I've been getting up to 50% off coupons attached to my receipt when I buy at Michael's. I also get the newsletter, and you have to go towards the bottom to where it says "Get your coupons"
If Michael's is accepting Joann's coupons, they sure are keeping it secret at my store.
(like I need any more craft stuff anyway..LOL)

Yes you can use Joanns. You can also use micheals and joanns together if you have like a 40% and 50%.
My Michael's accepts competitors' coupons, and vice-versa; but I've never been able to use more than one of any kind of coupon on any one day. I think the policy of all the craft stores is one coupon per person per day. Some stores don't follow their policies all the time. You are lucky that you can do that. Happy shopping!
The cashier at my Mike's told me last week that you can use two Mike's coupons as long as they're from different sources. For example, one from online and one from their ad paper. She said that was a corporate rule not just their store.
I read on another board that there's been a problem with their mailing program. This is the suggested solution:
What you have to do is log into your account, click on edit on the right side.
Uncheck the 2 boxes at the bottom (newsletter and ads), then click on update.
Then go back in and re-check the boxes and click update again to trigger the coupon email to work.

Make sure that you go to the BOTTOM of the email. That is where the link for the coupons is. The link on the top of the email is usually for the weekly mailer. At least that is what I have observed.
I have been getting weekly emails that usually have a coupon in them. Our local michaels (and the JoAnns store) take competitors coupons. Often times I can print out a Hobby Lobby coupon from the internet and both of the stores will take it.

I too read this in another thread, tried it (I'd stopped getting coupons, too) and it worked! Now I get email coupons again almost every week, so it's worth trying! :-D
