Michaels Question????

Has anyone ever ask Michaels to honor a competitors ad? I called them today to ask if they did this and they said they do, I just hate to go all the way there ( 40 minutes ) and then tell me, sorry, we don't do that, we don't know who told you that, ect. I know you SCS know the scoop. Thanks, Lisa

here in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire, they do honor competitor's coupons. I have given them Joann's, AC Moore and Dick Blick and they accepted them all (at different times of course!)

In my area Mikes will honor Joannes coupons and Joannes will honor Mikes. This has just started happening in the last month or so.

I called and did the same thing at our local Mike's and they said they did. I haven't had a problem yet bringing in competitor's coupons. You may want to call and ask for someone's name so in case they give you a hard time you can say well I called and spoke to so-so and they said it was fine. More than likely they will have to honor it! But did you not get the paper this weekend, there are 50%, 40%, and 30% coupons for this next week.

I use Joann's coupons at Michael's all the time. Works out great. Except when there is a new person working and they don't have a clue! Happy Shopping!

I know here in SO. CA both Micheals and JoAnnes accept each others coupon's. You might ask to speak to or get the store managers name before so you don't waste a trip. Anyway chances are good that they do!! Good luck :lol:

Thanks everyone. I didn't have a Michaels flyer in my Sunday paper. I'm going to give it a try, I'll let you know how it turns out. I want to buy those ribbon stamps by Hero Arts, I think those are so cool. Lisa
