I really need your help and hope and pray on bended knees that one of you lovely ladies out there might be able to help me.
I went to my local craft shop in UK today as normally around this time she has a load of the same stamps that you get in Michaels for $1 but alas she is opening another shop and is not getting any stamps in for a while - weep weep - well how totally gutted was I.
Sooooo I was wondering if anybody out there who lives near a Michaels might be able to pick up some of the new stamps as well as some of the Valentine ones and post them to me in the UK and I will paypal you the costs?
I particularly like the Happy Valentines Day, the flowers made out of little hearts, Cutie Pie, Cupcake and the Heart with Dots around it? I have seen somewhere and not sure where another picture of a load of new spring type $1 stamps but I can't remember for the life of me where, but if anybody could pick me up some of these as well I would be really really eternally grateful?
Let me know if you could possibly help, many many thanks in advance
I'm going to Michael's today anyway... I'd be glad to pick you up a batch! I've never sent anything overseas before, but, no time like the present! PM me your address and I'll get them out to you on Monday.
Wow, Dana! Nice stamps! I hadn't see the wood mounted ones before! And just wanted to add, I'd recommend airmail. I've sent small packages to friends in the UK/Europe before and they received them really quickly via airmail!
Thank you, Dana has been brilliant, trawling her local Michaels and then she went to Joanns for me, bless her socks, just trying to decide which ones to have now!!! decisions decisions but I have decided, he he
Sillybird, I am a flight attendant and fly to London all the time. If you need something in the future just let me know. I am flying to Gatwick today and Manchester on the 10th. I don't have a car there but you can meet me at the hotel. Plus it would be fun to meet a fellow SCS.
I just looked up Dorset on a map and it is a long way away. I just started flying over there and love it. If anyone else close to Manchester and London needs anything I Would be happy to bring it.
