I got an email from someone who is a demo at Memory Works, their prices seem kinda the same as everyone else, Anyone a demo? I am curious about the products and such.
Whenever I've seen this post, "Memory Works?", I always say to myself, "Not like it used to!"
But I did go to the website and downloaded the catalog after reading your post and it was very impressive! They have some fantastic products and the majority are from companies I just LOVE!
I'll be checking to see if I can order online from an MW demo ~ sorry I don't have anything to add from direct experience with them. It says they've been around for 7 years, but I haven't really heard much about them. Oh boy, I think I'll be in trouble if I look too much more at this catalog
Good luck finding out the inside scoop - if I see your post drift down through the pages, I'll bump it for you!
Something I found on their site is that they don't require a quota - that sounds nice. There are a lot of products you can get elsewhere, but here you get them all in one place and have discount benefits. I wish they had online ordering but maybe that will come.
Since they don't have stamps, maybe someone in the scrapping forum would be familiar with them.

Some of the demos do have online ordering, Yes I agree it is nice not to have a min, I dont mind not having stamps, I love paper more Esp basic grey and bugs in a rug.
I have been a consultant with them for awhile...I Love all the products they have. I did some research this week at a lss and they had a lot of the same stuff as well, priced a lot higher than our catalog. I would have paid more at the LSS than if I had used my discount and paid for the tiny shipping. Not to mention, I have never never never had the shipping issues I read about here on the lists. It is a totally laid back way of direct selling. When I have done a show or 2 in the past I was teaching techniques and finished projects than selling. I of course have not made a tion of money doing this...I know very few in any direct selling company who has, but to those who have...keep doing it, success is awesome. I have just started again demoing a bit more lately...I am holding my first class here at my home in June and I already have it almost booked. I have started posting layout, cards, etc...with the new product from the catalog...I put my first page up today. More will follow.
I've known a couple of people who were demos for MW in the past and they just LOVED it. They just did it for the discount and loved that there was no quota.
I just looked at the catalog online and WOW....they have a lot of nice things. With a discount....that takes care of the shipping and gives a little more discount to the buyer if you are just in it for the discount. I can see this being a great opportunity for getting good scrappy "stuff" for someone who does not have easy access to a big box store with coupons.
