Question Meanings of "Sub" "Bump" etc...........

I am not sure what "Sub", "Bump" and some other words too. I see these words in alot of posts. Please help me undertand what they mean, thanks so much. Hugs, Laurie

"sub" means that the reader is subscribing to the thread -- wants to see updates. it isn't necessary to do that, there is a link under thread tools that lets folks do that.

bump means posting to get the thread moved up to the top so people logging on will see it. every time someone posts to a thread it gets moved to the top of the list of threads, so it is easier to find.
