I see the special sign up for $75 on SU's website but it's no more clear to me. I am not a demonstrator at this time. If I signed up with the $75 kit right now would that make me a SU (stamp) demonstrator or would it limit me to the scrapbooking stuff? Does anyone know?
It would make you a full demonstrator like the rest of us! The kit you'd receive would focus on scrapbooking, but there's no reason you couldn't demo cards and other projects. The starter kti is just that, something to get you started... You'll supplement with your own favorite stamp sets, colors, etc.
Just consider it a sign-up special. You can join the SU! family for $75 right now with a mini-starter kit focused on Scrapbooking. The only limits to your business are the ones you place upon yourself!

Yes. Great post and a great opportunity for those who are thinking about signing up. Even though the kit may focus on scrapbooking, one can order a few extras and start making cards right away. Just having the great gallery that SCS has will help you with card making.

you can substitute like items. for example, if you don't want the alphabet set, you can pick another set. (correct?)
If you sign up towards the end of May, wait until the new catalogue comes out on July 1, you can take advantage of the first order over $150 within 45 days of signing up gets 30% off an order in July from the new catalogue.

Trish, it's www.stampinup.com. You can shop directly through there OR (which is better for you) choose a demo through the Demo Locator and order through her website. There is a Preferred Rate when ordering through a demo rather than directly through SU.
You would not be limited to only the scrapbooking stuff. It's a great deal!
