I use Spellbinders Card Creator dies a lot. If you purchase both Matting Basics A and B, they layer in 1/8 increments I think. I haven't measured in a while, but I think it is 1/8 inch. I purchased mine on Amazon, but you can use the Spellbinders website to find more information.

They are basic layering dies.

I’ve only seen photos of them online, so I don’t have personal experience with card layout dies in any brand.

I like the SB A & B mats too.
I would also look at Hero Infinity dies-they have shapes and you get a lot of dies.

More like the blueprints from My Favorite things....Elizabeth crafts does a series for journaling but beware-look at the sizes. They tend to be very large.

You could also search on scene building dies...like mountain ranges etc. Many companies do those, hills, waves, etc.

Queen & Company has several die sets they call Foundations that can combine in all sorts of ways for card layouts, and there are a few blueprint ideas included for each set. Here is a set I have that I use frequently:

Pinterest! Search for card layouts, or card sketches. There are TONS in there.
