I had to pop into Michael's yesterday and while browsing through Martha's line I see she has a new scoring board. Does anyone have this? What is your opinion of the product? I have been waiting to see if SU brings out their version of the Scor-Pal but this one caught my eye.

A lot of us have this. It came out several months ago but was almost impossible to find.. I've noticed that both my local Michaels have a cardboard rack FULL of them.
Personally, I LOVE it. I could never justify paying for the Scor-Pal but I used a coupon to get the MS board and only paid $10 for it. I use it every single day that I papercraft. It's one of my most favorite go-to tools and I highly suggest picking it up - especially if you can use a coupon!
I believe the discussion was in the "Tools and Products" part of SCS. If you go into that thread and search MS Score Board, I bet you'll find a WHOLE lot of discussion there as lots of us discussed the pros and cons at great length. lol

I've had mine for a few months now and have really enjoyed it. I, too, couldn't do the Scor-Pal price, but picked my Martha one up with a coupon. It's been great for doing projects with a lot of score (no more back and forth with my score blade on my cutter!)
I just got it a couple of weeks ago. I resisted any type of score board as I didn't want something else to store. But, when I couldn't find something to use my 50% coupon on at AC Moore, I decided to give it a try. I really like it. Made a waterfall card with it and it was so easy. I'm used to using the score blade in my Fiskars. I'm glad now that I did buy it. Now I just need to find a place to put it
I LOVE mine! I couldn't believe how cool it was when I first got it! I like making a lot of square cards (or other sizes) that were not on my other score-board so that was always a bit of a nuisance when I had to use my trimmer to do them. I also love that the tool is much finer so you get nice sharp creases and your cardstock folds nice and straight.
I think It's worth every penny (I paid full price since my store doesn't take the coupons on MS stuff) but if you can get it with the coupon, go for it!! you'll love it!

Pia, I did find a review on a website where both were compared. I found it interesting to see the two side by side.
Thanks for the reviews. Jaydee thanks for the blog link. I liked the comparison. Seems the MS score board makes a crisper score line which I like. I am convinced I will get this product.

I have both and I find that the actual scoring is easier on the Scor-Pal, but I like that the Martha Stewart ones has lines every quarter inch. I don't like to think too hard
