Default maroon colored copic marker

Does anyone know what color-number copic marker is close to the color maroon? Thanks

The RV family will give you that dark purply color (if that's what you call maroon) and the R family will give you more of a redish brown color (I call it burgundy).

You could do an image search on "copic color chart" to see some samples.

I just used R59 Cardinal on some grad cards that were maroon and gold. It was the closest one I could get to match my cardstock.

In my opinion that is a color that Copic just doesn't have.. They have a marker called Maroon (E77) but it's a greyish brown (that I LOVE) but it's not maroon.. lol
Close to maroon (imho): RV69, R59, R89 and maybe their lighter counterparts.. I hope that helps?

I agree with R89. That's what I think of when I think maroon.

Actually when I hear the word maroon I think of Looney Tunes, but that's a different story lol

Based on this color comparison, the Copic colors in the R family look more burgundy to me while the colors in the RV family seem more maroon.
