I am posting my results before I read your answers! I vote for:
A2
B1
C1 (harder, but 1 was a much more detailed image than 2)

Hope I picked the "right" cardstock! I love SU!'s US and only use GP for my kids' and church projects, or for practice!

YEA!!

What a great post!!

I love these nice, positive posts that people can actually SEE that SU stuff is worth the money. We really can't convince you without this type of post, though.

Thanks so much!! Guess it is time to donate all my cs I had before SU!

Default Cardstock Show down

A2;B1;C1

Thank you for your work. I appreciate your demo. I have learned over the past year since being introduced to SU products that there is a BIG difference in cardstock. I wish I have learned that lesson before buying like a CRAZY person at Michael's

I have been thinking through a comparison like this at my workshops, theoretical of course, should I ever have one. With the idea that it would help the conversion process go more smoothly. Do any of you have a thought or experience with this idea. Do you think it would be in conflict with the SU demo contract. Thanx in advance.

Thank you for this post. I have not purchased US white from SU because I have a ream of the GP (which IMO is the best paper I've purchased from a "store") I have not wanted to get the US white because I use so much white paper. But this thread has made me realize that I still can use my GP for matting and practicing, I just won't stamp solid images on it. Now I can afford to get the US white, and just use it for my best stuff. So thanks to all of you for giving me this idea!

This is a super thread and something I always do when I have a workshop of brand new stampers. I explain that yes, you can buy a cheaper cardstock elsewhere but this is what your image will look like compared to what it will look like on the SU US White. I have a customer that contacted me off the demo locator, she had relocated to my area from San Diego. She statred coming to my open houses and stamp camps and finally joined my stamp club. After about 3 months she asked what kind of white paper we were using so I told her that I only use SU products and it was out US White. She said she couldn't believe the difference. That's all she buys now, she's a believer!

I proved this point to myself one time when I was doing a "practice" card on non-su white (don't remember what brand--not GP though) and then did the same card on u/s white. WOW!! What a difference!! Totally made a believer out of me on the spot. I won't ever use non-su paper for stamping again!

Edited to say, guess I should have read more than just the first page before I voted. Nice to know that I got it right! Seems that the general consensus is that GP paper is ok for layering, just not stamping. Very interesting thread MamaK. Thanks for continually helping me learn new stuff (and getting a good laugh)!

This is great for people to see the difference, I guessed all right but was stuck on C for a while.

A kind lady on here is sending me some samples of SU US white so I can see for myself how good it is. I cant wait to see the difference in real life.

Would someone here be kind enough to send me a small piece of SU! US white to compare to another stamp company's white. I'm curious if they are the same or if SU!'s is better. I only need a piece big enough to fit in a standard letter size envelope. You can PM me and I will give you my mailing address. Thanks so much!
