Default Male Get Well Card

So the HR Coordinator at my work discovered my blog and now I am asked to make cards whenever there is a birthday/going away/baby/ANYTHING. Haha, I love it- but my boyfriend (who also works with me) has an intern working for him who has mono. It is REALLY hard for me to make guy cards...do you think this one (attached) is too childish? He's 18.

Thanks for your help!

nope. think it's cute. your average 18 year old won't like stodgy old geezer type cards anyway.

That's true- he'll probably read it and throw it away anyways! That's been my experience!

I love it but seems a bit young. You could take that same image and sketch just changing to a darker DSP(browns rusts black greys) and metal brads(silver, pewter etc) and you will be amaised how different and more masculine it becomes. Love your work!

I agree with stigmom. I think it's an absolutely adorable card, but it is a little childish for an 18 year old. The darker designer paper would make it more appropriate for a teenager.
