Default looking for an oval stamp

I am looking for an oval type stamp. Basically something I could make a shadow on under my images. It would kinda look like they were standing on a rug or something...or maybe it could be a small pool of water...

Does that make any sense at all?? hopefully it does

anyone have any suggestions?

A*Muse! They have a clear set with a good range of sizes, or they have a bunch of different ones that are wood mounted (at least they used to, haven't checked that lately). Their oval is the perfect shape for the "under the image shadow". You can order directly from them if your LSS doesn't carry their products. Good luck in your search!

i used my die cut and made one out of my trimmed rubber-from my SU stamps
or you can also use fun foam
glue/adhere the shape you want onto a clear block

I have a couple of square stamps like that, but I don't know if I've seen an oval one.

You could make a reverse mask. If you have an oval punch or Nestability, simply punch or cut an oval out of the middle of a piece of paper big enough to cover your entire project. Lay the piece of paper over your project so that the oval opening is where you want it. Now you can use a stipple brush, sponge or brayer to color in the oval. When you lift up the sheet, you will have a colored oval just where you want it.

I hope that makes sense!

Hi! just a thought....... for a "Free oval stamp"....... next time when you have to trim an unmounted rubber stamp that has large pieces of cut outs .......... you can make your own oval rubber stamp from the leftovers. Depending on what you have around..... you could make several different sizes to suit our stamping needs!:-D You can peel off the backing and stick it on to your own wood block or use it on your acrylic blocks.:-D
HTHs !

I think Memory Box might make some.
