Default Looking For Names Of SU Sets

I have a bunch of SU sets that I bought from people but the names aren't listed on them. Does anyone know how to find out names by the photos?? I know this sounds crazy, why wouldn't you put the sticker on the end, but hey it happens!!! Any help appreciated!! Thanks!

To some people, the names of the stamps/sets don't matter. I'm one of those people. I like the stamp, doesn't matter squat to me what set it's from.

I'm sure there are lots of people on here that can help you, though.

If you would like some help let me know. I am pretty good at finding out the names of stamp sets. If you send me some pictures I can help you. If you need my email address you can send me a pm. I don't really want to post my email address in the thread.

Having the names of the sets to look up their gallery here on SCS to get ideas is VERY VERY helpful.

Just describe them and someone will know. I have several old catalogs I can look them up.

Can you post a pic of them?? Attach it to this thread??

Another reason it is VERY helpful to have the name of the set is that when you post a card you can reference the appropriate set for others interested in using the same images! That's about my favorite feature of this awesome SCS site.

yep I want to have a list in case i ever want to sell them!! here's a few of the sayings:

Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness

Friendship is a comforting smile,a familiar voice that warms the heart & the freedom to be the person god intended.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give

Spirit has fifty times the strength and staying power of brawn and muscle

The first one you have listed I think you might have mistyped a word. Is it suppoed to read:

Love is the master key that unlocks the gates of happiness- this stamp is from the stamp set titled 'Key to My Heart'

I'm working on the others for you, but right now I'm making supper, but I'll try to find them for you.

Well, I am stumped. I can't figure out what stamp set your stamps are from. Are you sure they are Stampin Up stamps? I have all of the SU catalogs as far back as 1995 and I couldn't find it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.

When I was a brand new stamper, my demo forgot to tell me to put that little sticker on the side of the box and to tell the truth, I didn't even think about it until several sets later! All of my first few sets do not have identifying stickers on them, quite by accident!

Good luck finding that set, did you ladies look in all of the mini catalogs over the years?

Maybe try describing the images that went with some of these saying? (At least I'm assuming they're all in separate sets.)
