Last week I was on my hubby's computer while mine was on the blitz when someone's sweet hubby created a really cool color combo search engine site. Will someone please send me the link to that? That was the coolest thing ever!

When you hit search with nothing in the fields on the left, it searches the entire database and return ALL the combos it has so far. As of right now, there are 730. These color combos are ones I have collected from SCS and other places like the catties and other web sites as well as color combos that users have entered. If you put almost amythyst in a box and then hit search, it will return all results that have that color in it. If you want to look for a third color to go with a 2 color combo you want to use, put both colors you want in the boxes and hit search. It will then return all combos that have those 2 colors.
If it's returning a "not found" error, then the database does not have any combos with the exact colors you put in the boxes. So if you fill out all the boxes and then hit search, chances are you won't get any results.
OOoh I am so glad I found who (or whose husband) did this. I used this tool last week when making different color combos for a workshop! It was SOOOO much fun and so helpful! This is amazing and honestly, better than the Color Coach!

:O Oh my word! Woo hoo! This is brilliant!!!! Please let him know what a wonderful tool this is for so many of us stampers! And I'm impressed the new colours are in there, too!
so now if I save something it is there to be searchable by everyone else right? There are over 1000 now and I am thinking some were saved in error by other users after using the "surprise me" button because they don't look right together. hehehe
(that is not meant to offend. I am guilty of saving at least one bad one without knowing how to really use it before I bagan playing with it)

I just made a big color chart in excel with a lot of the color combos that were on your site. I've got the attachment it a thread on here I just posted if anyone wants it.
