(LOL, sorry, I pray for all the doggies who need homes to find families and homes for the holidays every year. I just got back form the petSmart with my adopted furbaby getting his photo taken with Santa Paws and saw all the puppies for the local shelters looking for homes for the holidays, breaks my heart)

I don't blame you! I took my dog to the groomers Wednesday evening and figured I pick up a few things down the street while I waited for him - OH - MY - GOSH! I could not believe how RUDE - RUDE - RUDE people were - and I am just talking about the driving! I was in a left turn only lane and the light turned red, well the doofus behind me thought he was too good to wait for the next green light, passed me on the left, drove into the lane to our left for oncoming traffic and turned left in front of the oncoming traffic!! Talk about IN-SANE!! Honking, gesturing - and we are in the SOUTH right now where everyone is supposed to be so friendly!!
I picked up my puppy when he was finished and came right home. I am dreading having to go to the post office Monday and then for milk and bread and stuff, and then I am not leaving until after New Years!!

I know how you feel. My sons are 21 and 24, and do not trust my taste in clothes. I also have an almost-fiancee to buy for. So I asked them whee they shopped and went and got gift cards. Some people think that's cheesy, but it works for me. Now all I have to do is gussy them up with pretty paper and embellies. Then a 2 hr drive to my mom's on Christmas eve, and they're calling for snow. I just talked to my mom and told her I'd make the 5 cup salad this year. She said "just bring the ingredients". I told her it wasn't like I was going to burn it or anything....I'm 49 and my mom does not trust me in the kitchen. Hmmpph
