If I took a pic of my desk right now, it would look pretty much the same. When I start to create the paper, ribbon and ink pads fly and just start mounting up and I push stuff to the side. Only if I slow down and take the time to put everything away after each creation can I keep up. Sometimes you just can't take the time or you lose the moment of fabulous creativity!

Mirror image of my desk! Don't you love how your clean are that your project is in keeps getting smaller and smaller and the stacks of supplies around you get taller and taller. My hubby shakes his head and asks how I can create anything in that disaster! LOL.
LOL - my desk looks like that pretty much all the time. I have to force myself to straighten it all up b/c I run out of room to stamp but when I get on a roll I don't have time to clean up!!
My mess is on the dining room table- that is out in pain sight for the whole world to see. LOL Right now I am working on birth announcements, thank you cards (for baby gifts) and I need to get started on cards for all the kiddos in my Sunday School class that will be moving on to the Kindergarten class the
1st of September. Did I mention I just gave birth 13 days ago...........
Wow. Just Wow. A little suggestion: you might want to move that cup of coffee before the phone rings and coffee gets everywhere. Just looking at the coffee so close to your craft goodies stresses me. Please tell me it has been moved. Please.......LOL (I am not brave enough to show my craft room)
LOL!!! Yeah really...I'm kind of organized right now but that's cuz we just moved. But there are lots of boxes under my dining room table...fun times!!

Yup! Believe it or not, my table is even messier! I'm trying to get more organized so that I have all the more commonly used items close at hand. That way they're easy to get at and easier to put away as soon as I'm done! I took all my BG stamps out of their boxes and store them on end on a bookcase right behind me. That alone has made a huge difference in clutter! No more big plastic boxes in the way when I stamp! I use a rolling office chair so that I can get to things quickly. That helps because I have bad knees, and it's painful to stand to get things or put them away!
With all that said, I'm still not neat, but it's getting better!

I am not alone. once I get on a jag, I am a force of nature that leaves a mess very similar to that. I would not have the coffee cup there. I would be too nervous. and no phone, I want to be left alone.

Hee Hee! I'm right with everyone else. If you stop, then the creative thought might disappear. I keep saying it's because I don't have enough space! Wonder if I get a big craft room, if this will stop...doubt it!! Ha!
