What about Feathered Friends? That's been around forever as well. I remember trying to decide between that & Nice & Easy Notes when I hosted my first workshop back in the day.

I'm pretty sure it is Nice N Easy Notes. I beg every year for it to retire but alas it is still here and still sitting on my shelf, unused for at least the last 6-7 years I think. I'm pretty sure Happy Winter was a SAB set in 1997 when I signed up, not positive though.
BTW--Anyone interested in trading for my Nice N Easy Notes??????
I thought I read in a different thread awhile back that Nice and Easy Notes will never retire... due to sentimental reasons for Shelli or something like that??? You never know maybe the style of it will become very "in" again... What goes around comes around, right? (and I do think that it still can be used in a cute way!)
I can remember paying $1 for Happy Winter when Sellabration was run differently than it is now, back 10 years ago when I was still a customer. My guess is also Nice and Easy Notes.

I heard that Shelli's sister designed it and it will never retire so I would say it is the oldest set.
Nice & Easy Notes it is... I think that set is the only one from the 96-97 catalog that's still offered.
I'm happy to report that it WASN'T in the 95-96 catalog! And yes, I have one (it was actually my grandmother's, but she didn't even realize she had it and was going to throw it out!) But it seems that at that time, SU sold other peoples stamps - Hero Arts, Rubberstampede, EK Success, etc.
Anyone want my Nice N Easy Notes????? I don't even think it would sell on ebay! I think it's time that stamp set retired for sure.

Sorry for the hijack here... but can someone tell me if the Nice and Easy notes fit on the tag punch??? I like the set and have it on my wishlist... Looks like some of you don't care for it anymore... maybe I can get a good deal on it somewhere. ;)
I bought nice & easy notes way back when not for the images but for the arched phrases. I like having the word placement like that but never cared for the images. I'm not even sure what I did with those little rubber images. Better hunt for those one of these days.
I searched ebay and noticed 3 different versions of the nice and easy notes set. It looked like there were some changes over the years with 1 or 2 stamps???? Some sets had different birthday stamps in them. hmmmmm.
I had also heard that Shelli had her sentimental sets. I thought there was more than one. Any ideas?
Isn't there a small set of 4 called "Best Wishes" or something like that? It is very similar in style to Nice and Easy Notes.... I'm too lazy to get my catty to check it out.
I use Itty Bitty on nearly EVERY card I make. I just love it. It was the first SU stamp I bought - way back when. I mounted it without trimming [didn't know any better] and just last month stuck it in the micro to warm up the glue, trim it, and remount it. It's been around forever.

I can't tell you but if you have a catalog and the tag punch, try slipping the punch over an image or punch out a tag and hold it over the images. The pictures are actual size unless otherwise stated.

I just tried this. The entire image is WAY too big to fit. Some of the images (without the words) alone fit, with just a bit cut off. The only image (not including words) that fits perfectly is the Potted Tulips.
I traded one of last year's hostess sets for Nice & Easy Notes since it's something I can still demonstrate.
I'm actually going to use it at an upcoming workshop since the customer also owns it and might like a new idea to go with it. I did a simple 3x3 card with the little girl with the heart and cut out and popped the heart in red. It's kinda cute, even if simple.
Nice and Easy Notes was a Hostess set in the 96/97 catty. Fantastic Foliage first appeared in the 98/99 catty. I was able to purchase some of the old catalogs and it is interesting to see the evolution of the stamp sets. It is almost like an archlological (sp?) dig and its only been a little over ten years.
