Some stores have their reasons and I am sure that they make sense to them...but I cannot say that I understand them! I use USPS.com for pinting out labels and postage...and it makes no difference! The only difference is that it prints out an extra page or two that you put in a clear envelope on top!! The clear enveloped are even FREE from the US Post!

Hey y'all... I'm sure you've seen the Paperosity ad banner the last week or so... In addition to their 15% SCS discount til 27 July, they offer a permanent 10% military discount (MIL01)... isn't that cool? I just placed another order... I'm a huge fan of the Rusty Pickle papers... and got my (drumroll...) first Primas on order... Now, I'm off to get some stickles (thanks for the "More Than Ink" tip CMC) ;) Cheers...
Just wanted to let everyone know that ******************.com is having their quarterly sale on grosgrain ribbon - WOOOOO! I think the 3/8" width is 72 cents for 5 yards, they have lots of other widths too - 5/8, 7/8, 1.5 ... The 1/4" (my favorite) only comes in 100 yard spools for $7.96 I think (under $ - a great deal if there is a color you use a lot (like red during the holidays and valentine's etc.)

Terry didn't mention that she has FREE SHIPPING on orders over $50 I think (and that includes APO addresses). Even if you order those large, heavy scalloped punches by Marvy! There is a flat rate on heavier items (like $5.95 on the Bind-It-All but I still think that is an amazing price, it was on sale the last timeI checked too). I just placed an large order with them for all kinds of things and can't wait for it to arrive so I can play!

I know Stampingcottage.com ships to APO/FPOs also. They also ship free over $50 and have very fast service. I placed an order with them and received it in 2 days
OMG! I could go on!! I have not had an issue yet with anyone not shipping to me here. I know that if they dont take the AE I just put in NY(which is where our mail runs though anyways) and it always gets here!! So I am pretty happy with my on-line shopping. Just really wish I could walk in instead of shopping on-line all the time and having to wait for it.

OMG...ordered Liquid Pearls and more Stickles (can you say addicted??!!)!! Anyway, placed my order on the 25th and they arrived today, the 1st!!! They are fast, shipping was a flat 4.99 when I ordered, and they threw in a freebie!!!!
They are based in NY, so those of you at the AE would probably get it quicker.
We offer the same shipping rates to FPO and AP address as we do to the states. Free over $25, under $25 is $4.60. It does take more time to ship to FPO and AP's, but we are happy to take the extra time as what you are doing and giving up, its the least we can do. Keep up the good work!!

OMG.. Yes.. I am living in Japan right now and using a APO address.. and sometimes they won't ship certain items... or charge me a arm and leg because they have to fill out a customs form... It is CRAZY!!!! I tried to order a steamer on Amazon.com .. yea.. way off subject of stamping..but they will not ship it because they will not ship to a APO!!!!!!! URRRGGG...
Right now the number 1 site for me to shop from is Joanns.com .... I get FREE shipping on anything over $10.00 and I can use coupons toward my purchases too..
Howdeeeee... Not "stamping related" but helpful just the same... If you're looking for salon products (like Redken)... SpiralHaircase.com offers FREE shipping to APO/FPO addresses... You pay the shipping first, and then it's rebated once they process your online order...

I am the co-owner of the company and my partner is a Marine wife - so we understand the life of a military family and we wouldn't deny you all any of our stamps! Since one of our lines is a military line, we deal with APO/FPO addressess all of the time!

Oh Gina, you'd be surprised. I have lived in Germany and Guam (which IS a US territory) and the companies who refuse to send stuff....oh my! On Guam, we had to get a on-base post box in addition to our street mail box, so as to get SOME things, but other stuff will not ship regardless. You can get Joann.com on Guam though.

We use priority mail through the US Postal Service and it doesn't take anything more than adding a small customs form. (Two seconds.) And, it will provide you with a delivery confirmation number too.

Is there a complete, up-to-date list put together? I have been increasingly made aware of this incredibly insulting practice of not shipping to our overseas citizens (including our soldiers in harm's way!). I absolutely do not want to give a dime of my money to any company with this mindset.
It says it cannot ship to my destination. I also tried to put NY as the state but it came back saying their was a problem becuase we have to put APO as the city. But it did list AE as a drop down on the state??? How can I take advantage of the 49% sale?????
