*grin* I know you do, Liz. When I first joined this site - and *horrors* didn't know a thing about stamping ... you were one of the ones who stepped up and offered to help me out. We WILL meet sometime. Do you ever visit Scrapbook Village? We could plan to meet there some time. Or the Hobby Lobby at 1092 - though I still think they play contemporary music *grin* There's always a place for coffee around here, too.
I must warn you, Cindy! It will start a new obsession!!!
I have to wait until March to start this new obsession. I'm saving all my craft money for spending loot at an art retreat in Las Vegas next month. (I dabble in mixed media art and jewelry, as well as stamping.) In March I should be able to get the KSS sets I've been eyeing. The hydrangea set is calling my name, along with that hot cocoa! Of course, then I'll have to buy some new ink pads, too...It never ends, does it? ;) I hope not.
Hey CindyB,
The stamps are so worth it, I love the hydrangea. Make sure you check out the tutorial at the KSS website, it is a must for the multi-step stamps. Happy stampin!
Nope it never ends Cindy - but you're gonna just love the KSS stamps! As Traci mentioned, be sure to check out KSS site for tips and color recipes - you'll find them very helpful.

Hehe, wouldn't it be funny if we have been in those places at the same time and didn't realize it. HL is often one of my weekly shopping spots, as is Michael's! I went to SV last week to look for some papers for my stamping group I do over in Angleton. Are these new owners? There doesn't seem to be as much in there as there use to be!! I work 2 days a week at Christ UMC, but usually available most Wednesdays and Fridays.

I JUST noticed these great stamps by Kitchen Sink. Where the heck have I been? They definitely haven't gotten the hype they deserve. Maybe I thought people where using Copics and I didn't look into their cards, knowing I couldn't do THAT 3-D effect. O - M - G
I have got to order some now I'm like which one first, how much can I afford, what color of inks do I need. I'm out searching for their cards and their deets.
Who would of thunk I would have fallen in love again? (Don't tell my hubby.)
Thanks again,
Sheila
P.S. Didn't I hear there was a coupon code?? NE1 want to send it to me. It was my birthday yesterday..so I really am looking forward to shopping.

Reason: Ordering...
That would be fun!!! With a little arm twisting, maybe Anita and Shelley will, too!!
Lynn - I looked through my stash last night and the only 3-steps I have are the hummingbird (6 step?), roses and adornments. Any of those might be too ambitious for my first ever swap. If I do - I suppose I'll need to pre-stamp. I'll find something. thanks for the vote of confidence, though.

Liz - I just sent you a PM. WOW! Your KSS (and all the other) cards are awe-inspiring!
I had a thought. Suppose every time I walk into SV I shout - "Is there a Lazy Lizard on the premises?" <laugh>

Sheila,
I think there are many people like yourself who haven't realized what amazing work that anyone can do with Maria's awesome stamps!!
The depth and color are all created by the layering of the stamps, one on top of the other.
As far as which ones to get, go for the ones you love! All of them line up easily if you stamp them in reverse order with the darkest color first and working back to the lighter colors!!
I started with the roses and I still love them to this day!
All of the KSS design team members have galleries here at SCS as well as personal blogs where you can find detailed layering directions as well as promo codes for ordering. If you go to my blog, the other team members are all linked there in the sidebar.
I look forward to seeing some KSS creations in your gallery soon!!

Well, Billie, that rose was my first KSS love!! I'm very partial to it!! LOL!!
I haven't decided yet what set I will use. I have a boatload of cardstock arriving today so I should be able to look it over and start designing.
We don't have a LSS here so I'm stuck with HL and ordering on-line! I did pick up some great coffee papers at your Scrapbook Village when I was over there a few weeks ago which I am using with the new Cup of Warm Comfort!
I also picked up some fabulous ribbons there to use on some cards I am submitting for publication!
Have fun shopping Sheila - be sure to let us know what you ordered! Then ink up those babies and play along with the monthly KSS challenges!
I think if everyone would realize how generous Maria is on her prizes for these challenges, everyone would be flocking in to do those. I guess I will do anything to get free rubber!!LOL But, those challenges are fun and so rewarding. I have won many KSS sets, which increased my KSS collection considerably!! I can't say enough about how fabulous these challenges are. There should be 10 times as many people taking part in them, so I hope the word gets out.
I think this thread has done so much to inform others about the uniqueness of these stamps. Thanks to the great information shared by the Design team I think many people are starting to give KSS a try!!
