EXCLUDING Children of the Corn ~ I mean, Charming Children ~ what is your least favorite set in the catalog? What set would you never buy and even give away or try to give away if someone gave it to you?
And would you believe I can't remember the name of the one I can't stand. Over to the SU website to get the name because its got an inspiration sheet.

The other one for me is the racing set. I was so excited at first when I heard about it, but when I saw it I was SO disappointed, so I know how you feel Leah.
Kymbers, I'm w/ you on Fun Filled...it does absolutely nothing for me. I got it free w/ SAB because I had everything else. I can't even bring myself to give it away to some poor unlucky person.
wow, y'all really hate Fun Filled! :confused: I don't have it but have seen it. it actually looks kind of cute to me!
that said, I really hate Loads of Love. something about that truck just looks so dumb to me. there have been some really cute cards made with it like this one by mom5boys but that's more of a case of doing a great job in spite of the stamp rather than because of it.

I'll give an "AMEN" to this! When they retired two car sets, I thought -- oh good, maybe there'll be a really good new "nascar" set. But no! I mean, really, what man wants a card that says "Simply Scrappin' #1" or "Stampin' Kids Markers"?!?!?
And, I'll agree -- I don't care for Aquaria much either. I've always wondered what you would do with this set. Maybe I'll just have to check the gallery out of curiosity.
Ok, so I actually did go look at Aquaria in the gallery. It actually is quite pretty. Still not my style, but I don't hate it! Just goes to show how much your impression of a set can change once you see it actually used.

It's funny, but most of the sets I used to hate have already moved on. There are several I don't care for, but not any that I think I hate. If you remember Bear Hugs, that was on my list for YEARS! I swore it must have been a personal fave of Shelly's to stay in the catalog for as long as it did. I also hated those ugly robot and dinosaur ones that were in there last year.
I can't stand holiday print or happy birthday greetings. when I saw them in the catty last year I thought they were so ugly! I can't believe thery're still around.
nice and narrow and along the same lines also get on my nerves. I really tried to like them, but I just can't.
other than that I just figure anything else I don't like just must be someone else's style, but those 4 I really don't understand how they made it into the catalogue.

Not that I completely dislike the set but I think Netherlands is a pretty useless set. I was completely surprised that it made the catty again and that SU doesn't have a Canadian set at all. Must be a lot of Dutch ex-pats that stamp? I don't get that one...

But I have to stand up for Computer Quips. OK, it's a little cheesy, but it does make nice cards for guys into computers, and not fishing or woodsy stuff like my brother-in-law.
I also have Fun Filled and Quick & Cute. I usually end up with all of the SAB sets, even if I don't really like them. I haven't used them much, but I don't hate them.

OK, so I actually like Fun Filled. I'd be willing to be that poor unlucky person you could give it to ;) Guess everyone has different tastes. The set I don't like is Please be Seated. When would I ever send somone a card with a folding chair on it? I never really looked at the At the Races set until now. What's up with that set? Very disappointing.
I detest "Wisecracks" and "Wanda's Wit and Wisdom" There are a bunch that I don't like or NMS, but could find some occasion to use them if I had them, or could make a card and nothat eit if I had to, lol! I really like Computer Quips and Netherlands on other people's NO lists though! (Netherlands is one of my favorites that I don't own, even though I am not Dutch--I keep wanting to order it, but it hasn't made the cut yet).
The ones I HATE are:
Charming Children (Ok so I know you said besides this one, but I still hate it!)
A Good Sign (Just dumb. I like the "idea" but it just doesn't work for me.)
Jazzed Up
Say Something Mice (UGLY!)

laurakj, you are wise. I forgot about the Cruisin Christmas set. It just looks like the gnomes disguised as Santa. What was someone thinking when that one made the cut???
Wild Fowl. When is it ever appropriate to send someone a card with a duck on the front? :confused:
Well, considering my aunt and dad both live right on the Allegany river it's completely appropriate. She even had me make her a trivette and coasters. AND ~ she pheasant hunts so the set was a perfect match for her.

and I absolutely HATE the Lively Little Ones!!! I can't believe they replaced Kids at Play or whatever it was called with this set. Children just aren't shaped like that!
ETA: I absolutely love Fun Filled! I admit I wasn't thrilled at Sellabration last year with any of the sets and the sets I did get (Fun Filled and Paint Prints) have absolutely shocked me with how useful they've been. Guess you just have to try things sometimes?

I do not like Aged to Perfection!! I thought it would grow on me, but more like MOLD than anything else! I made a few things at Convention with it and one swap card, but I'm sure that will be the extent of it! Don't like it...YUCKY POO!
