in Scrapbooks and cards? I do both but for some reason I will scrap for awhile and then make cards. Actually I have not scrapped in a few months. Right now I'm into cards more. I wish I could work on both at the same time.
I do both.
I don't use my stamps in my scrapping all the time, but sometimes it's just right for a title or embellishment.
I don't make as many cards as I do scrapbook pages.
I started papercrafting with scrapbooking and loved it....until I discovered cardmaking and SCS!
I haven't made a scrapbook page in a couple of years now. Cards are so much more fun for me. I think maybe it's that cards are so much quicker to complete.

Since I started making cards I have not scrapbooked...I have 3 boys and a grand daughter and numerous trips to get done and I just cant get there...but I did use my stamps in my scrapbooks.
Blessings.
You sound like me. I like to do both, but I get in moods to where I will do just cards for a while and neglect the scrapbooks (baby book still isn't quite done, but he is only 16 months...) then I'll scrap and not make cards...just depends on my mood and how much time I have to work. Wish we could just stamp all the time!
I do both. I seem to be really busy with cards lately, but I'm itching to scrapbook as soon as I get some things done. Hopefully, this weekend I'll get a chance.
I do both. I started scrapbooking 11 year's ago. Then I got into card making, and stamping. I am finding stamping is costing a LOT! I like making people card's and they like getting them, but, I really think I am throwing in the towel on a lot of it. I really want to get back to scrapbooking.
I stamp both, and like you I go through "phases" where I'm mostly doing one or the other. I'm soooo far behind on my scrapbooking I don't think I'll ever catch up! lol
I do both - started with scrappin' and I still do it - just as much I think - but I get into "modes" right now I am in a cards mode LOL and I do stam in my scrapbooks, even if it is just a title or date - so much more economical than stickers & chipboard letters - though I use those too LOL ;)
My first passion was scrapbooking. I got hooked on stamping and cardmaking likely because it was faster and instant gratification. I haven't scrapped in a long time but plan on getting back to it. I,m finding that I can't keep up with all the cards I need now and if only they didn't keep maiking cool new stuff....!
I do both too. Started with scrap booking and then found stamping/card making. Mainly because I went to buy a mother's day card, saw the price, and decided my mother wasn't worth that much to me. Ah the sad truth.
Now I find that I really really love card making, it's fast and instant gratification. Plus people love the cards.
I do both and have found that if I have scraps left from a scrapbook page and make a card with them right away, I keep my scrap pile to a reasonable size. The papers and embellies are already coordinated from the page, so usually a stamped sentiment finishes a quick card.
I am only a stamper on cards. I love the pages that I have seen other people create, but it has never made me want to do it. Now when it comes to making a card, count me in.
I started as a scrapbooker and went to my first SU! party with no intention of buying stamps for cards. I then attended a few other SU! parties and started doing technique classes which focused on cards. Since I had enough supplies, I started making cards for family and friends birthdays, anniversaries, etc.. So now I do both. I prefer scrapbooking, but cardmaking usually has a deadline - someone's birthday is coming, etc., so I'm "forced" to do a card instead of a LO. I guess that's why I'm so far behind on my scrapbooking.
You asked about stamps in scrapbooking. Yes, I stamp in my LO's all of the time. I usually try to buy the stamp sets that lend themselves to LO's. I love the bitty backgrounds for scrapbooking and a lot of the big doodle type flowers.
I do both. But, because I'm technically challenged and always forget how to download my photos from my camera, sometimes I don't have pictures! Then I have no choice but to make cards instead of scrapbook.
We have a monthly crop at my church, and even when I have pictures I'll stop and make at least one card. It gets my creative juices flowing.
Although I do both, I have been stuck in a card mode for over a year. I have made a few small home-made scrapbooks in there but I haven't actually worked on my larger (81/2x11) scrapbook for a very long time. It is quite frustrating. I get moments of "desire" but I just never seem to have the energy to pull it out and work on it. the smaller canvas of the cards seems more "doable" to me these days. I certainly miss it thought!!!
I started off as a scrapbooker and then got into cards and altered projects. Now after a few years...I'm finally back to all three. I'm lovin it! Also...I find things I've learned in one type of project can translate into the others.

I started as a cardmaker, but then I realized how my investment would also work for Scrapbooking. There's very little besides scrapbooks that I have to buy that I don't already own for cardmaking.
