Just a little request for bloggers
I hope this isn't asking too much but I really like when the blogs have the spot to put your email address in so you receive their daily entries. Several blogs already have that and believe me I have several of you in my inbox every morning to enjoy while I sip my coffee, but I want more. So please, please add this feature to your blog so I can enjoy you every morning. Maybe someone that already has this feature could share how you can add this feature, thanks so much.

You can also use Google Reader to do the same thing for you. But using Google Reader you can put anyone's blog into it.
Using goggle reader does not fill up your in box!
Keeps all your blogs in one spot for easy reading!!
Got to try it!:p

I use Feedblitz for this - there are others out there but that was the name that floated to the top of my mind when I wanted to add it! The providers of the service will give you a little bit of code to add to your blog and that's it, you're done. Feedblitz just asked for my e-mail when I signed up and nothing more than that. I haven't had annoying marketing messages from them or anything, quite painless!
Can someone explain Google Reader? Where do I find this? How do I add blogs? Is there a tutorial? (Sorry I am not the brightest when it comes to a computer) I have subscribed to so many blogs that my email inbox is always so full.

Feedblitz will also let you subscribe to any blog out there. There is an option to put the URL on your list (even if they don't have a sign up box) and it is very user friendly.

I have been trying to add feedblitz to my blog and I just can't get it right. :( Can you please give me a short explanation of feedblitz. I have an account. I tried several times, but I just can't get it.

I think it's probably easier to do it from your blogspot account than your Feedblitz account. I don't have Blogspot, so I'm not sure how it works for them, but there should be an "add a widget" or "widget gallery" option somewhere when you're in your Blog account (in Typepad it's under "Desgn" when you're editing your blog). Look for that, or type "widgets" under "help" from Blogspot and I'm sure there's a list of widgets for you to add. If there are categories for different widgets, you'll find Feedblitz under the category of "publishing tools" (at least, the category it's under in Typepad).

I installed the Feeblitz subscribe by email box, but lots of people have told me it's wonky when they sign up. They told me I have to download a current widget or something like that, so hopefully it's working ok!! It is nice getting updates right to your email.
I use FeeBlitz too on my blog. FeedBlitz or anything like it is really nice because that is how I now bookmark the blogs I want to keep track of. It is indeed nice to have a message in your inbox or a list of updates to go to immediately. There is so much sharing out there of ideas and I would miss most of them if I had to hunt them all down on my own.

I did kind of a tutorial of sorts on google reader for my subscribers who subscribe by email.. it's a more efficient way to subscribe (in my opinion..)
here's the post if you don't know what google reader is..
I recently added Feedburner to my mommy blog so people can subscribe, and despite a bit of difficulty (no doubt a result of my tech-challenged brain!) it's up and running. I'm sort of proud of anything technical I do on my 'puter!
I have the spot where people can subscribe through Feedbiz... (by entering their email)... I found out that not many of my readers subscribe this way... I have lots of people who do the google reader thing... but I wanted to have the option available anyway. (It's easy)... but it is funny, my mom will call and say... oh, I see you have a new subscriber today... or oh, someone must not have liked your post... I see you have one less subscriber today... (because she watches that number like a hawk!) LOL

I guess I should go figure out how to do that on my blog! I tried once, and it had so many questions and boxes to click, I freaked and didnt know what to do! LOL
Thanks for all this info! Now to go figure it out!
