In case anyone's still listening, I thought I'd mention two Canadian (Ontario) online craft stores that ship for free with orders over $75. They both have an incredible selection and their customer service is wonderful.
me too! I love all things Canadian. (ok minus Harper, but work with me here, I don't think he stamps)
We could do a lot worse than Mr. Harper as past experience and present opposition will confirm.
It would be awesome to find out where the best shopping is in Canada, best shipping rates for online orders, best deals etc. on some of the wonderful products the USA gals share info on. If you keep your USA shopping under $50 seems duty isn't a problem. I've ordered many times from the US.

Artsy-Em, I think if you check the get it together forum of SCS, there is a group of SCSers from down Toronto/Hamilton etc. area that do get together. *sigh* I discovered it AFTER I moved back to the capital after living in TO for a number of years.

We don't necessarily have to have a Canadian forum though you know - there are lots of chat threads in the Fun & Games forum for all different groups here on SCS. Wouldn't be hard to start a Canadian one.

The person who started this thread over 3 years ago now hangs out at a Canadian site called Stampin Canada. I spend most of my time there as well. Her and another wonderful lady started the site after they saw how many Canadian girls wanted their own meeting place. I've had the pleasure of meeting both ladies and they are so nice. You may want to check out the site. We have lots of swaps and get togethers. Its a lot of fun and they're all a great group. Very friendly and close knit. Its a little quiet on the boards right now because of summer, but there's still lots of people around and swaps going on.
HI, I'm from Alberta, about 1 hr. north of Edmonton. I have done some shopping online and my fav's are: Scrappers Paradise (out of Red Deer) and Scrappin Great Deals.
To the ladies from Winkler, do you know the Orchards from Miami, they are old family friends of my family.
Hi. I'm from Moncton, NB. We are very limited when it comes to scrap & stamp businesses. I actually only know of 1 besides WalMart.
I am very interested in some Canadian Online stores.
Great forum. Nice to see where everyone is from.

I'm from Woodstock, NB and have had someone from Moncton in my store in Las Vegas... was it you? I've only ever had one person from NB in my store so if it's not you, then there are two stampers in NB!
Hello Canadians! I live in NH but DH and I are visiting the beautiful city of Quebec City in two weeks and I'd love to visit a stamping store or two while I am there. Any suggestions? We've been to Montreal but never QC and I can't wait to see it. I hear it is beautiful! We are staying in Old Quebec on Rue Saint-Jean. Thanks.
Hi bbgirl66!
I found you from the other post you left!!
You are going to love it!! rue St-Jean is the best place to be. There is so much to do in old Quebec!!
Quebec City has 2 small scrapbook stores. Scrapbook Cafe and Madame Scrapbouquine. Unfortunately neither are in the old Quebec area. However if you're out for a drive it wouldn't hurt to pass by ... right?!
Thank you Indigo! I am so excited to go to QC. I've always wanted to...especially after moving out East a few years ago. We are driving and we'll definitely be taking in the surrounding areas as well as walking around Old Quebec so I'll be able to check out your recommendations and I won't have to worry about packing things on a plane! I can shop till I drop! I just hope the Madame speaks English.
Uh oh. Better brush up on my French (taken 25 years ago). Yikes. I can usually read it...just not speak it very well. Maybe I'll run into you at the Cafe! Thanks for the tip. I shall check out the sale bins too while I am there. I also found out from an old post by Jazzytobi that the Stamping Bella "Ketto" character was originally a creation out of QC and there are stores that carry Ketto artwork. I'm a fan of Stamping Bella and some Kettos too so I will also be checking those out. Thanks again!
Yes I always see Ketto stuff for sale around here! You may already know this site since you are planning to visit, but if you go to Site officiel de l'Office du tourisme de Qubec and type in ketto in the search the ketto store will come up. Although I often see ketto stuff in other gift shops too.
Thanks, Becky, for asking those questions about Quebec City, and thank you, Indigo, for answering Becky's questions! I've been thinking about a trip to Quebec City with my family and I'll be sure to check out those stores you mentioned.
It's next weekend and I can't wait to go! I'll report back at how my trip was and what goodies I find! I also found out from another post that Ketto (of Stamping Bella fame) is based on a character out of Quebec and there are lots of "Ketto" things in the stores.

Make sure you have Queue de Castor in Old Qubec! Banana & nutella is my fave.
Another BC gal that dabbles in card making, scrapbooking & stamping!
And I'd like to give a shout out to my favourite LSS, Country Lane in Surrey(Cloverdale), BC. Country Lane
Great staff ~ lots of samples for inspiration.
Oodles of product, too!

Hi There..I am from Calgary and I am NEW to the forum. What a great place to talk to other crafters and to see great ideas. I just placed and order at (scrap-hut.com) for some supplies and the prices were great so I just thought I would share the link with everyone. Anyone know any other Canadian online stores you would recommend? I know there are lots of US sites but i would rather support a canadian retailer. Thanks everyone.
regina needs more stores. the michael's here isn't very good. and that is really the only hobby store we have here.
Hey, that's where I am as well! I totally agree with you. Can't figure out why a good store can't make a go here. Sigh. Thank heavens for online shopping. ;)
Scrappin' great deals gets about 90% of my business (my LSS, the Scrap Yard on Canyon Meadows gets the rest). Order enough, and you get free shipping! And do sign up for a newsletter so you can know when the sales are...
Hey....just found you and you've been here for 3 years? I'm in Winnipeg, been on SCS for over 2 years. My fav. lss here is Scrapper Anonymous on Portage Ave. I also like Scrapyard in Stonewall.
enjoying the snow Manitoba??????

I am new to SCS, and fairly new to the hobby, but hopelessly addicted nonetheless. As we speak, my dh is clearing out the "junk room" in our basement to make room for all my new toys!
I am in Winnipeg, and love Scrapbooker's Anonymous on Portage. Marilyn is terrific. I have found that Scrappin Great Deals is a good Canadian site, as long as you order enough to get free shipping.
I have recently been drooling over PTI... but the shipping is outrageous! I am trying to find a group to get together to place a big order.
Can't wait to head down to Minni next weekend and check out Archiver's for the first time!
Im in Winnipeg too. Welcome to SCS.....
When you go to Minn make sure you stop by Hobby Lobby and Joann's in Fargo. I found these much better deals than Archivers. You can print their coupons on line.
Have fun!!!
I'm in Coquitlam, B.C. (west coast). We lost Clipper Street here and I spread my shopping between Country Lane and Be Creative in Pitt Meadows.
I do admit to shopping online from across the border as most of the shops I frequent in the US have cheaper prices and cheap shipping to Canada or, ship for free to a little place 1/2 hour from here in Point Roberts. Now that amazes me....it is free shipping to the US but, they have to cross into Canada...drive by my house to deliver to Point Roberts for me to pick up....go figure!!!
I'm in Las Vegas but I'm Canadian... from New Brunswick, University in Nova Scotia and Ontario, Air Force in Winnipeg and Toronto... I sure don't miss the cold and snowy winters... Merry Christmas to all.
I live in Ontario and although these companies are not in Canada, they have fantastic and fair shipping rates. I just recently ordered from Rubbernecker and the shipping was $3.98 and arrived here in 7 business days. Sometimes it takes over 2 weeks so that was great. Another company with fair rates is Amuse...you ask as you are checking out for the best postal rates and they are soooo accommodating....be sure to pay with a credit card and not paypal so they don't have to refund postage costs.
Just thought you may want to know.

That's good to know, Karen... when I checked out the Amuse site, it looked like the minimum shipping charge would be $10! I'll have to try what you said.
