I want to give out major cyber hugs to Julie! I bought the February PaperCrafts mag yesterday. While flipping through I stopped on a cute card. Of course it was Julie's design!

That is so cool! Congratulations Julie! I can't wait until my magazine arrives!!!!
Maybe Julie could share pointers on how to get published??? Wouldn't it be great if the SCS'ers were in lots of magazines ... cause as my teenagers would say ... we're so awesome!
I'll have to buy one with my last minute trip to get groceries today. Thanks for the heads up ladies. And a big CONGRATULATIONS TO JULIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is inspiring - awesome (I try not to use that word too much- it's soooo overworked but she deserves it) .

I still don't have mine yet! Grrrr! Why am I always the last one to get my SS and my Paper Crafts?! Oh well .... something to look forward to next week ........ I hope.
OH, WOW! I subscribe, but haven't gotten mine in the snail yet. Been out of town for 2 days (got off the rock to holiday shop and hotel with my family.
The notches were created by cutting with only the tips of the SU! scallop scissors. Fiskars used to make a pair of scissors called Notch, but they were discontinued. I couldn't find 'em when I was designing that card, so I had to improvise and it seemed to work just fine!
I honestly NEVER thought that would be a card they'd select, altho it was one of my favorite creations ; I sent in about 8 samples I think, and that was the only one that caught their eye.
Thank you guys for noticing . . . You are so sweet. I'm gonna resist the temptation to go searching on local newsstands for it AND try to be patient for my subscription to arrive . . . ARGH!

I had actually received my magazine on Wednesday at took it to work with me. I marked all the pages with ideas I wanted to try on my afternoon break. Julie, your card is one that I marked with an orange sticky note! The only one in the mag. that I marked that way!
I didn't even look to see who made it because I never expect to see anyone I know in a magazine.
Congrats, Julie! I received both my Paper Crafts and my Paper Works magazine and you're published in there too! I was so excited for you! I just love your work!
