I voted for the baby card. Good use of layers. Nice layout. Great use of embellishments. Good colors too. The sun one is nice but it didn't use as many elements as the baby card. The baby card also used a number of different techniques including sponging and faux stitching.
This is why I voted for the baby card too.
However, if it were me, the Fun in the Sun would get an award for originality!
It was a difficult choice. I picked the giraffe one but the bee card was a close 2nd. It came down to the fact that I liked some of the details on the giraffe card - things I wish i could do that well.

I chose the congrats card with the faux stitching. Layout and design are really good, just an all around very nice card. Although it was a tough choice, I sure hope there are consolation prizes!

Holy cow man! I am chewing my nails to the quick! Will you be letting everyone know who the winners are and what the prizes will be?

First place winner: Big Blossom (SAB) or Splatter Background (retired) or Number set (retired) I think I have one more (new in box) retired set that is of equal value ($16.95) that the winner can choose from...
All of the runners up will receive a two stamp -set that are "two step stamping"!

#1) flower/bees card. It is just so fresh (and I'm not crazy about that set, but this is cute).

sun/pool party card -- love the doodles
The others are good too -- just either not my style or didn't grab my attention.
Judging is a hard thing to do. It's hard to be unbiased when you have certain styles that you like. I guess a poll is the best way to do it -- many opinions.

We have a lot on our agenda for today! Club orders arrived yesterday, they are bagged and ready. The ribbon swap is divided up (each of the club girls ordered a spool of ribbon to swap with each other). And most important, we need to draw months for this session of the club! (July - Dec.)
I think we might have a little fun in the sun ourselves!
