Ok, so DD and I are going to make the little candy bar wrappers for a friend of hers. We go get the Hershey's miniatures and labels. Get home, DD comes upstairs and says, "Try to get the outer label off"....I can't! They have printed the label onto the foil....it's all one wrapper! Aargh! DD is laughing at me because of my "cleaned up" expletive...(you know the ones where you realize you're about to say something bad, and it comes out as some very strange new word?) Anyway....on to Plan B w/ the candy bars! Anyone have any ideas?
It's more trouble than labels, but you can cut paper to go around the bars and fasten with a piece of Scotch tape. I made some for my DH last Valentine's Day with miniature Mr. Goodbars--just cut pink paper, stamped a heart or a message, then wrapped them.
They have started to do this with all their candy bars :( In the past when I've done the mini bars I've either made my own wrappers and ran them through my Xyron or I've just wrapped paper around them like normal.
Well, my husband (aka Mr. Chocolate), wasn't terribly upset about having to eat these. However, you guys gave me a great idea...I could use the decorative paper to rewrap them, then do the matching label to go over the top. I'll give it a try. Thanks for your help and all your offers to help eat the candy bars.:p

Thanks! Lisa
Cover the wrappers with bigger wrappers. I've done that. People know its a brand candy bar any way. I done it for Candy bars I have put in Paint Pails, etc.
I just covered them with my labels when I did 250 for my sister in laws wedding 2 years ago... So what if a little label sticks out... actually I used the fall colors on the ones I did for her since her wedding was in October it was the only ones we could find.. those were colorful labels too so they were still pretty!
if you can find the 10 pack of Kit Kats (not the bag it has to be the 10 pack)...they are the only small candy bar that I know of that still has the removable wrapper...
