I purchased this lot of Lili of the Valley stamps on ebay last week, and they arrived a couple of days ago. Beautiful stamps, nice unused condition. I had mentioned them in another thread, and wavejumper asked about the seller, so I sent her over to look. She recognized that the seller's city and also the storage and labeling system were the same as our dear Cherylquilts. I wrote to inquire if these stamps had belonged to the seller or if she was selling them for Cheryl Scrivens, and she confirmed that she was indeed selling Cheryl's stamp collection to help Walt. I had a good little cry over that whole little touching 'coincidence', and I miss that precious lady all over again... but now I have some of her sweet stamps in MY collection and that makes me very happy. Just had to share!
If anyone would like to see what's still for sale, there are still some very nice lots HERE. I can tell you I added this one lot to my watch list first and the seller offered me a very generous discount.
Thanks, Dina. I sure miss Cheryl and think of her often.

Don't think I did not shed a tear too. Cheryl is very missed. Hard to believe we just passed a year. i am so happy I saved a bunch of her cards to my Pinterest. But yes-very definite "small world" thing! I see it as her sending us a hug
I was able to recognize it as I have some of her stash too. It was the labeling that caught my eye and then I checked the seller location. Knew Walt had given it over to a friend to sell for him as mystery boxes were not working. Pleased that this avenue is working for him.

Thanks for sharing, Dina. What a small world it is sometimes. I found something to purchase and will cherish having some sets from Cheryl's collection. Hugs!
Thanks Dina,
I found a great group of Christian stamps that I can use for my Card Ministries.
