I have more but most of them are CASEd from this site or magazines. I am a busy homeschool mom of two and I have a part time job at night so when I do sit down to stamp it's usually limited and I get more done if I can just tweak some of the beautiful creations that come from other people's minds! Thanks to all here at SCS! You are ALL a wonderful inspiration!
I can't believe I fell for that!! It feels great!
After lurking for MONTHS I am finaly out! I just LOVE this site and don't know why I didn't post cards earlier! Thank you to all for the wonderful ideas and BEAUTIFUL art! Stamping Rocks! SU Rocks! YOU ROCK!
I did it too! I actually stumbled across this post right after I created my gallery!!! With only 2 pics....but....I finally did it! I actually started it b/c my creations tonight made my uterus flutter! I was making a baby gift and I have NEVER had the fever, but....this onesie could have given me the fever! I cased JulieHHR's frame and made a onesie to match.
Beth, thanks so much for starting this thread and all your help and encouragement. I am also new to this site. I also am computer illiterate to stuff like uploading , etc... I will try this weekend when I have the time and hopefully ds will be home to help... I'm my own worst critic and very critical of my work but thanks to you all encouraging us I'll try.... You gals are great!!
Okay, I'm finally convinced to come out of lurkdom (not linkdom as in my description typo  ). I've been so in awe of all the beautiful cards here, I never felt my first card attempts should be seen by anyone but my grandkids. Thanks for the encouragement. Here goes! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I would post a pic and come out of the closet if I just knew how. I take the pics with a digital camera and they are saved in my Kodak easy share program in albums. But how do I get them from there to here?
I only have a couple of cards that I even think are worthy of posting. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not very computer smart.
Ilstamper, the how-tos are in the first post in this thread....check them out, and if you need more help, please let us know and we'll try to help you. Good for you!
I posted this question under the "site question" forum but did not have a reply. Beth, you are so quick to help, so maybe you can direct me to the answer. On the left of the SCS "home" page there is a link to creating an album. Is that a place I can "store" my own cards for my view, as oppossed to a gallery for all to see? Can they be transferred from one to another? Sorry to change the subject a little.
etsdas, I'm afraid I really don't know the answer to your question. I'm so sorry! Have you tried searching the forums for 'setting up an album' or something like that? Perhaps that might have some answers for you.
I know the answer. The member gallery that you have can be seperated in to specific albums. I do not have one to show as an example, but if you go to say 11Valerie11 gallery at Forums at Splitcoaststampers (one of my favs ;) )
You can see where she has an album at the top. Might be handy for those that use multiple stamp companies or something... HTH! By the way, all these new artists uploading their cards - AWESOME! I just checked them all out - I will try to post comments on everyone. I just love this place, Beth you are so nice!
I finally got up the nerve to post a card this week (in Calming Garden gallery). I have been looking at all these beautiful cards and never felt "good enough" to post, or more often all mine are CASED. I was very proud of myself for posting, but now I keep looking for comments - how egotistical is that! I realize like mail, you should send comments to receive comments.
I do not know how to post a link here, but it is easy to find, just look for brother-in-law's birthday card in Calming Garden.

rkarliner, I just left you a comment on your card...it's lovely!
There are directions on how to post a link to it on the first post of this thread. Basically, it's just a copy and paste of the URL. If you like, check out the directions and give it a whirl! If you would like some help or something doesn't make sense, just ask and we'll try to help.
Beth, Thank you so much, you made my evening. When I get up the nerve to do this again (I really don't make many original cards), I will make sure I know how to post a link.
I'm sure it isn't too hard (my DH is great at helping here) and I will ask if I need help. You are all so nice!
Rebecca

You gave me instructions before the system change and then I ran across this post and decided I'm going to do it. So here is my first post which I must say the comments from it has me feeling like a million bucks right now.
I sent cards to Sue for her Father's Day project to soldiers and out of all the cards I sent this is the one she commented on. Two million bucks right now!!!
And for everyone who wants one like it see if Daven will sell his birthday card because this is what I sent him or one very similar meaning the lightening might be just a little different.
Rox, I am so proud of you for posting! Good for you! And, now that you have posted that first one....I want to see some MORE!!! That card is a WOWSER, that is for sure! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Beth,
Thanks for your encouragement! Just wanted to let you know that I posted the directions for the baby wipes background (wasn't sure if you'd see them if I didn't post here).
Julie, you are right, we did used to be able to do that. And it was a wonderful thing! I guess with the new software for the gallery, we lost that feature.
In the Forums page, near the bottom, there is a subforum for Site Suggestions. I would go there and make a request for that feature to be restored.
As soon as I get my scanner fixed I will be up loading like crazy! I have tried to take pictures with my camera and they don't come out well. Might just save the money and buy a new one. My husband has not even looked to see what is wrong with it.
__________________ I love to stamp any free time I have!!
I have been scanning all my cards in for my own reference since January. I then don't mind giving them away. So here are just a few I have done, I will add more when I have some free time.
I just started posting my cards this week and I have to say it is a lot of fun. Now I check the site even more often to see whether there have been any comments on the cards I have posted. I am trying to make sure that the cards I post are not directly CASED cards.
Okay Beth, since you were so nice and encouraging I took a deep breath and posted three cards. I have derived so much pleasure and inspiration from seeing cards others have made, I know I should share. I can't post a link because they aren't listed yet, but one is for a retired set, Bugs & Slugs and the two others are for Something to Celebrate.
Its silly I suppose, don't know why it would be so scary to post a card, but it is!

Good idea. I am going there now. At this rate it will take me 3 days to upload my entire bag book!
