Default Ink Cartridge Storage

How do you store your ink cartridges for the wheels? I have the worst time with them. Right now they are all (not many) stored in a ziploc bag but everytime I go to get one I find that at least three or four of them have lost their tops! Then, of course, the ink dries up. How do I prevent this and is there a better way to store them?

Thanks for the help!

Those new SU plastic alphabet boxes work great for the cartridges. Ask your demo if she has some on hand or can order some. It is a supply item, not in the catty.

I'm using the alphabet boxes for mine. They work very well.

I found a storage box at Michaels. It was in the bead section and it has 20 compartments. Each compartment holds 2 cartridges. I also keep each cartridge in a snack size ziplock bag. The container only cost $3.99!!

I also use the new alphabet boxes. It works great for me. I also type out a label on my labelmaker to attach to the top so I can easily tell which ink cartridge is which. HTH!

I use a "car garage" for mine, that I bought at Walmart. I also store my alphabet sets in one. I'll attach a picture below (sorry, don't have a picture of the one that I store the ink cartridges in, but you'll get the idea). The spaces are even big enough to hold the jumbo ink cartridges. And, the car garage, is double-sided, so if you are lucky enough to have LOTS of cartridges and reinkers, you can hold lots in one case.

This tip of mine (for the alphabet sets) was actually published in the last Stamp It! magazine!
