What if a person wants to become a demonstrator in August? Can anyone tell me what the sign up benefits are? Please drop details here. I'm others are also interested.
The convention sounds like much fun! Is it held in a different location every year?
Thank you both for responding! I have been SU for 1 1/2 years now, and really enjoy it. There will be much to think of, and do to get the creative juices running, and the like. Fun, fun. I can't wait.

August should be an exciting time to sign up as a demonstrator. Keep an eye to the recruiting specials and talk to your demonstrator (potential upline) about it, too! You'll have a lot of fun!!

At least one is available in the current catalog...Fundamental Phrases. You can see them in the new catalog, or there may be some pics in the convention galleries or on blogs. If you don't like a set you can subsitute it for another.
If you don't like the sets in the starter kit you can switch them out for other sets that are equal or less in value. You can also choose the colors of the ink pads you get and what family of assorted card stock you want.

1. From what I've read you will get a free stamp set from the new preview brochure when you join in August.
2. Convention is held in Salt lake City each year (last year it was in Denver because the SLC convention center was under construction)
Are you serious that convention is usually in SLC That is totally awesome, since I couldn't go this year and was really jealous I am determined to go next year and since it is usually in SLC it makes it all the more easier!!!

Yeah, I was all signed up for convention this year. We decided the hotel and airfare were too much so I had to cancel. :( Now I'm trying to convince hubby that we need to move to SLC!!!
I thought it was a different place every year so I told my husband that we would have to make a vacation out of it next year, but since they are usually in SLC all the time we don't have to worry about that.
If you go onto Stampin' Up's website, you can print out a copy of the demonstrator application/agreement and you can see which things can be substituted in your kit.
Decided getting the link could be considered advertising...so just go to SU's website...
