I got a cuttlebug on Saturday from Michaels. Yahoo...........50% off coupon worked. Anyway, I opened it up today ready to experiment with my d'vine swirls and my cuttlebug is missing it's handle so I can't run it through.
Just needed to vent.
I've emailed provocraft and I hope they will just send me a handle, I don't really want to drive all the way into town to exchange it.
Oh honey that is so sad....how frustrating that must be when you are so excited and ready to create. I hope swapping it out will not be too big of a hassel for you.

That is such a big, fat bummer. I am sorry! But it's worth the wait when the handle comes!

ok this happened to a friend of mine actually just before Christmas so .... double check you also have all the plates ... I think from memory you should have 2 x b plates or something like that ... she only had one ... maybe a batch went out with this stuff missing.
I would also suggest returning it where you purchased it and getting them to replace it with one that does have a handle and get them to worry about provo craft.
That is SO frustrating..
You do know the handle is separate, you have to attach it; and you should have an A, 2B, and a C plate also....make sure they are all there!

Bummer, I can imagine how excited you were. Hopefully it won't be long until you join the land of the Cuttlebug addicts. Seriously, once you use it, you'll want to use it on all your projects
Ok--same thing happened to me except with the Xyron 900. Got it home and the book was missing along with the DVD. I called Michaels and they said to bring it back and get another one, but they don't have any more.:(
I'm hanging on to my receipt and the machine until they DO get more!! (I used a 50% off coupon plus I had a store credit for 20.00...:mrgreen: )
Provo craft is mailing me a new one. I know it will take longer than running back to Michaels but I've waited this long I can wait a little longer. Besides, maybe if I'm lucky, provo craft will give me a coupon for a folder or something. Doubt it but you never know.
