Johanna (from justjohanna) actually turned some more of my stamp designs into real, honest to goodness rubber stamps!
I'm so excited - I still can't quite believe it. They are a bunch of fall items, pumpkins, gourd birdhouse, an autumn scene and a set of fall flourishes (straight, corner and wreath). I love fall -its my favorite!
I posted some samples in case anyone wants to take a peek.
Thanks for letting me share.... No one understands the excitment like another stamper!
Click "shop" and then "new" to order the new images. The pumpkins are called "Cathrine's Pumpkins" large and small (even has my name heehee). The place to order is there, but the image still needs to be loaded.
If you want to see all the images actual size, go back to the home page and click "Catalogue" and then "September 2007". There is a PDF will all the new images.
BTW... I don't make any money off these sales, I just wanted to share my thrill. I don't want anyone to get mad at me.....
Hee. I didn't realize that several of those were your designs. I love the pumpkins, the gourd/pumpkin/wheat corner, and the wheat/leaf border most of all, but the gourd birdhouses are so clever and cute too.

Why aren't you getting paid for your art?? I was looking into making some stamps a while back and the artist I was going to hire was charging $50 an hour for her talent. I think that is very reasonable. I just think you really need to look into this. They are charging $10 for each of your stamps but you are not reeping any of the benefits for your art.
Your designs are very nice. I like them all. I do feel you should be getting some payment from justjohanna. Anyway, my congratulations to you. You have every right to proud.
Awesome job! Your stamps are darling---congrats to you!!!
Where are you in PA---my WHOLE huge family lives there--right outside Phila in the Plymouth Meeting area! Yeah! Nice to see a stamper from my home state!

Yikes! I stepped in it and didn't mean to. I was trying to convey that I don't make a commission on sales or anything. As a design team member, I'm compensated for the work I do. I know what I'm getting before I do any work and I love doing it. Its a hobby and a creative outlet for me.
Honestly - the reason for my post was to share the thrill with people who I thought would really understand it. I really appreciate the people who took the time to comment and share my excitement. Once I started adding links and stuff, it started to feel like a sales ad and I felt a little weird - like I was taking advantage of the message board.
I like to think of this board as a friendly place to share all things stamping - and I didn't want to offend anyone.
Plymouth Meeting is just up the freeway from me - maybe 30 minutes. I'm in Wallingford (SE of Philadelphia). Most of us here in this part of PA are always moaning about the lack of stamping/scrapping stores. I do a lot of on line shopping - or shop when I visit my Mom in Michigan.

Awesome job! I didn't take this as a sales pitch. I took it as you sharing your accomplishment with fellow stampers who would understand and appreciate it. Off to look at the website. Congrats again!
Cathrine, your images are fabulous!! I had no idea they were yours untill I saw your wonderful cards on your blog. I can imagine how exciting it is to see your drawings in rubber
Thanks for sharing your talent!
