Ok...my demonstrator told my about this website at the last party I hosted. I have been addicted ever since. It was a successful party (sold $750 "what is an average party anyway??) and have all these great new stamp sets and accessories, but haven't even had a chance to use them cause I'm always popping on here to see what you all are doing!! You all have sooooo many beautiful cards posting daily (that I have to view) and have so many interesting chats and wonderful stamping tips that I haven't even stamped! "I take that back, I did make 2 quick b-day cards".
SOMEBODY HELP ME!!
Wow! I definatley know what your going through. I have been on this site several times a day to "see what's new and what's going on" since my MIL told me about the site. I believe that it's a healthy habit, so it is OK I just gather up all the ideas in a notebook. I also saved some in my Favs. I figure someday I will get around to making the cards from all the inspirations I have from SCS site. Good Luck. P.S. that was a great $ amount for a show. Good Job!
Hi, my name is Mary, and I'm a stampaholic AND an SCSaholic!
This site IS addicting, as you can see by the number of posts I have and
I only became a member 2 months ago. I've gotten so much great infor-
mation, learned so many new techniques from the forums and tutorials.
Everyone is so generous sharing tips & info. And then there are the AWE-
SOME galleries! So much talent & creativity! Got a question? Post it here
and usually within MINUTES you'll get lots of helpful, generous information
to help you work things out!
Can you tell I love this place?!!!
Yup, yup, that's me too. I learn something new everytime I visit, but I also discover something else I can't live without  so it's an addiction with a cost. It's all in the name of creativity! Scary, but in a fun way, no!?
You are right, so addicting . . . but I am so thankful for it. I love the community here (on the chit chat post I had a question last night and got more comfort from the responses I received that I could have imagined)
Its not a bad thing to be addicted to such a wonderful thing (I guess I should go throw in a load of laundry though) Welcome to our world!

Hello,
My name is Crystal & I am addicted to stamping & this site. My demonstrator told me about it a few days ago. SHE WARNED ME! She said say good bye to your family. LOL  What a cool site!
I am so addicted, I say things like, I have to sell more baskets to pay for more stamps. That is so wrong! LOL! WOW! So, wrong, but so true. Thanks for all the cool ideas!
I am so glad that I'm not alone....I discovered this site two-weeks ago. I think I have spent more time on the computer looking at cards than I have on anything else! (yes, I have laundry piled up in the hall and dirty dishes in my sink) I find myself dreaming about cards all the time!! It's kinda scary when I wake up in the middle of the night and my first thoughts are of cards. I was beginning to think that there was something wrong with me. I's so nice to know I'm not alone....
This site pushed me over the edge to become a demo...membership has its benefits. If your wish list is that long seriously consider signing on!!! I have never regretted it!
there is nothing you can do about it, we have managed to suck you in with us, so sit back and relax as you join us in sucking in the next unsuspecting victim. It actually sounds kinda like a horror movie. I think thats what DH believes anyway.

I am addicted too. My DH walks by the computer, laughingly shakes his head, and tells me I have stamping on the brain. Well yes I do!! Who wouldn't after being introduced to this site. Heck, I am on vacation right now and am I spending time with my family? Nope, I'm on this web site.
Yup, I'm an addict as well. I knew it was bad when I started checking on the site during my lunch break at work. The last two weeks I've had three sick children and this site has been my connection to sanity. I sneak into the "office" and end up checking in on conversations, looking at cards, waiting to see what the new challenges are. I figure a little escapism is healthy, especially at stressful times of life.
Now, I just have to figure out how to upload cards, and maybe make more than two a week!
Let's admit we are all addicts. But if you want to get back to stamping, start taking the weekly challenges. You'll learn to creat your own cards, not that there are not a million here worth casing. Good luck. hope to see you in the galleries.

I learned about his site two weeks ago by my demo. She also warned me of the dangers but I didn't listen. Now she sends me email messages that read, "Put down the mouse and step away from the computer!"
I've already signed up for seven swaps and placed two SU! orders.
I must admit that I, too, am addicted to this site. I was in Disney World this past week w/no computer and I could not wait to get back to check out what has been going on since I left. I look forward to the challenges and missed this weeks SC challenge, but it is not too late, huh??? I just have so many things to do before I start to stamping. I am making myself not pull them out before accomplishing a few things here.
Are we crazy or what???

The last two I made were sketch challenge cards and I'm hoping to make some more today for this week's sketch - if the sick children improve and can play without mommy. for a little while...
Thank you all for your great replys! This whole internet thing is pretty new to me. I would pop onto stampin up's web site from time to time but was always disappointed cause they didn't have any examples to share, but I didn't know how to find a site that would have samples. I had heard of chat rooms (I guess that is what this is??) and always thought they were a bad thing. When I first learned of this site, I would read through some of the conversations between all of you and I must say, I am so deeply impressed by the quality of people on this site! Everyone is so willing to share their talents and wisdom, not only stamping related, but personally also. You ladies are the best! I'm glad I finally figured out how to post! Now I just have to figure out the uploading of the cards ( that is if I ever can break away from the site in order to do this!) Thanks for welcoming me!!
I too have an addiction excuse me several addictions but I love it! And I am grateful my Dh can appreciate me and my addictions. My demo told me about it a month ago and I thanked her for adding to my already pre-existing condition(s). LOL This is a great place for info. Enjoy.
Whatch out Mommaj..next you will bcome a SU demonstator(like me), and it will be all over!! Have fun!
Karen
Karen,
You are so right!! LOL Before coming to this site I had thought about becoming a SU Demonstrator but not seriously, Now after coming to this site and seeing all the fantastic and beautiful creations people have made there is no doubt in my mind that I am going to do it, In fact I am waiting for a call back about. it, I have already contacted someone!!!
I have the same problem!!! When I finally get enough time to actually be stampin' and making some cards, I end up stuck on this site reading everything, making trades, buying more stuff... I should be an expert stamper by now because of how much time I've spent reading on the subject! Yet, I'm not because I don't stamp much at all!!!
Yeah, I know what ya'll mean - I should be working on my taxes right now, but SCS comes first! And I mean 3-hours-a-day first! I could have remodeled my house in the time I've spent here this last year!
Yep, I am an addict too. I remember in 1990 when I started stamping and I couldn't get enough stamps..LOL. Then I had our first daughter in 95 and became addicted to scrapbooking but never really put them together, Now I have found this place from my friend and I am so into stamping again and want to do all my pages lately with rubber stamps.. that is if I ever get away from this computer to actually do some stamping. The gallery really inspires me with all the different ideas there are for the sets. I love that every card is soo different and many people have used the same set and have such great ideas.
I love this place.

I AM AN ADDICT TOO Yes all my housework is pileling up. I don't think my children remember who I am, my dog barks when I walk into the same room. I have about 40 pages in my "favs" that I plan on CASEing but never get to. I went on a Stamp Away weekend last month and had "withdrawls"
Not to mention the money this site costs!!! I am so desperate to CASE Michelle Laycocks "Faux Oil Painting" and had to order Radiant Pearls from addictedtorubberstamps.com because I couldn't find any locally. It wasn't cheap!!!
An addict? Is that what it is called?! I was told about this sight a few weeks ago and sign on at least 2-3 times per day. Geez, I might miss something! I have only been stamping about 1 1/2 yrs. and have so many stamps (even more now, since checking this site.) I can't believe all the idea's that one can do. So exciting I often find myself daydreaming about my next creation when I should be paying attention to something. Paper, just isn't the same anymore!
Can anyone tell me how in the world to get to my e-mail account on this web-site???? I've gotten some messages, been alerted by my regular e-mail, read the splitcoast e-mails, but now HOW DO I GO GO THE E-MAIL SITE once I am on the splitcoast homepage??????

You are going to start to notice that your laundry is piling up, the sink is full of dishes, and your dreaming of cards! (or is that just me?)

Holy, small world in this vast universe of the internet. Vanderhoof(commonly known as Hooterville) is approx. 6 hours southwest of Dawson Creek. I am about 4.5 hours north of Prince George. My husband and I go thru Vanderhoof a few times a year as his dad, brother and family live in Fraser Lake, which is about 45 minutes west of Vanderhoof. I was pleasantly suprised that someone on here knows about such small places!

Right at the top of this page you are reading right now - above the dark blue line...there is a link that says either "you have no new messages" OR "you have 1 new message" click there and you will see an inbox listing your messages......I hope that is what you needed...
I don't know how to do it from the home page - just from a forums page
