Definitely! I'd say it took me a year before I figured out what "my style" is. I'm sure a couple years from now my gallery will look different from what I make now, even though I know what my style is
Without a doubt! I don't know that I always stick to one style. I am always changing to what interests me at the time. I took a browse through my gallery the other day. What a journey!
YES! I am emabarassed to look back on some of the stuff I made in my early years. It got to me to where I am now though. I have learned and tried so many different things since joining SCS that I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Wow, has my style changed. I think I have gotten better at what I do plus the more you do something you get better at it. Also, the products I use have changed so much. With the addition of punches then to die cutting machines - its all changed! It's fun to look back and remember those earlier cards!
I was just looking at my gallery this morning, after reading this thread. I'd have to say my style hasn't changed that much-I still like classic stamps, not into the cute or people images any more than I ever was. I don't color any more than I ever did-I don't have copics to improve that aspect of my creating.
But as mentioned, I have better tools, use more punches and dies. Certainly more embellishments. I layer a bit more and put more into each card.
But I'm still not sure my "style" has changed that much. Maybe I'm not looking at it the same way as you are.

Mine has definitely changed over the last 4 years (4 years? wow!).
Its interesting though...I started out with a more simple style, got into the "busy" look and now I am back at a more simple style and I think that is what I prefer...just had to find my way around ;)
YES. And I first was on 2ps and I went back to those a few months ago and looked at what I started with and HOLY COW I've changed. Actually, although I like what I'm making now, I don't know that I'm at my "best". I like the clean and quick style I'm doing, but for a while I made really cute fairly detailed, layered cards and those were pretty darn cute too.
so I think it's been long enough for me that it's not just a skill change but I can see taste changes too.
