Well, I use my Floral with the Print Pattern & French Script A LOT....Use my Linen a lot too, so this is an impossible decission! LOL....I keep drooling over that Paisley & can't wait to get it. I am so addicted to BG's. I also really like the Weathered one too....OH! This is IMPOSSIBLE! I guess it's "eeny meeny, miney mo" time!!! Good Luck with your decission. (And welcome to the BG addicts club!)

I love the floral, but I also love so many of the others . Luckily I don't have to choose to own just one. I never would be able to choose just one to have.
I have print pattern, linen and script and Dot's & Daisies so for my next order I am picking up Weathered. I saw a really cut card in papercrafts where you stamp white cardstock and then cutout pickets to make a fence. You can then stamp flowers behind it. I think this is such a cool idea and will be a pretty anytime kinda card.
Well I'd choose between linen and weathered but it only lets you choose one of course haha! They're both very versatile. But some of it depends on what you're into. If you're not into the vintage look, you'd be better off to choose something like the word search one!

if it was among the ones listed...word by word...because it is like getting all THOSE WORD stamps in one...I am a scrapbooker as well as a stamper, so that is why i see it that way.
Let me start by saying I'm going to reference some that are not on the poll. Maybe if you look at it from the perspective of different ways you can use the different backgrounds it will give you some insight into which one would best suit your style and needs. In my opinion Floral, Paisley, On the Spot, Word by Word, Fontastic and Ephemera could all stand on their own with just a sentiment to make a complete card. But they also work as a background. Canvas, Linen and Aida can make a piece of solid cardstock looked textured and more like Bazill-type CS, but also work great with other background stamps and stamped images to give texture to them, they are wonderful and very versatile, but are similar so you might want to go with something totally different to give you more variety to play around with since you already own canvas. Weathered, Cheesecloth, Fine Lace, Flannel Plaid help to create a mood and give texture, but are more subtle in nature, they don't shout "look at me", like Floral and Paisley, but are more obvious than Canvas and Linen, sort of middle of the road.
Also, consider the other stamps you are going to use with the backgrounds and see which would best compliment the stamps you have or want to buy in the future. Also, some backgrounds work better for masculine cards so if that is something you are lacking you might consider those.
I chose linen without reading the original OP. I just got excited about it being a poll. I know... Anyway, if you have canvas, maybe I would have chosen on the spot. However, I love my linen, even more than my canvas.
